Nene was on today’s episode of The Ellen Show and things got a bit crazy! Nene struts out in an all white ensemble and I do mean struts in her 6 inch Loubs. Ellen begins by saying she always thought Nene had such a great personality on Real Housewives of Atlanta, proving what we all know, that Ellen has never watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She goes on to give her accolades for her work on The New Normal. Nene says she loves it but the hours or so long. Ellen seems surprised that the hours are longed for scripted shows than for reality. Nene explains on RHOA they tell you, for example, today taping is from 2-5. Ellen says, wow, that’s not reality at all! And Nene laughs nervously.
Ellen asks about The Golden Globes and she mentions J-Lo again. Nene says living in the Hollywood Hills is very different for her. She says it has been an experience. Ellen asks what is wrong and Nene says she has had lots of little friends to come and visit them. Their pool is up against a hill and the have had mice and a snake in the pool. Nene says that she called 911 over the snake.
Ellen asks about the wedding. Nene says she wants an over the top fairy tale wedding. Ellen asks if she will be having a bachelorette party and Nene says of course. Ellen says, “Let’s start it now!” and out come four strippers. They dance for quite some time while Nene laughs hysterically. Pretty cute. The previews for Ellen said that “Nene comes on Ellen ‘just before her wedding’ which make me wonder if they had to cut out some spoilers? Or if it was just hype on the part of the person editing the commercial. When do you think Nene will get married and where?
I like NeNe too! I saw her last year when Rosie had her on her short lived show in Chicago. She was very nice, They called me up because I was on file for being a housewives fan from Oprah’saudience file

Nene and Anthony were adopted and raised by her Aunt. The two younger sisters were raised by her mother and her husband until she died. I don’t know if they live in the Georgia area. They were primarily raised in New York.
My understanding is that she has two. Neither was speaking to her before the show even started. I can’t prove that, but it’s been the word on the curb since season one.
Does she still talk to her aunt? Funny, remember when they did that “before they were stars” show? She never mentioned her sisters, only 1 brother
I read somewhere that one of the sisters divulged a bunch of family secrets to Sheree and even filmed with Sheree & Kim to bash NeNe but she fought to keep it off the air. Rumor has it this same sister is the one that exposed her paternity secret.

I’m honestly curious who would come to the wedding. She is estranged from most if not all of her family. I am still not sure what happened with her sister(s)… Not trying to be mean but who would come other than Bravo people and her “celeb friends.” Gregg’s family probably if it were in Atlanta.
Wow that was nice of Ellen, I love that women, she is so down to earth. Nene is really moving up in the world and she has to get use to show business and get rid of the mice. Cannot have no mice, that is a definte NO NO
It would be nice if Nene was married somewhere in CA and Kandi married in the ATL.
I think she’ll have the ceremony in ATL and it’ll be a filming day for the cast. Maybe she can rent Kendra’s house for it?!
