For someone who doesn’t like having her picture taken, Brandi sure does a lot of photo shoots! Brandi felt the need to show off her Christmas decorations and cooking skills in a photo shoot yesterday morning. Does Brandi strike you as the type that can roast a turkey? Do you think this was motivated by Leann Rimes tweets and pictures about her holiday preparations? Is this move to look more domesticated and motherly prior to more explosions on next week’s episode of RHOBH?

I like Brandi really. She’s trying to capitalize on her growing popularity and you can’t blame her. I actually don’t think she looks good in posed photos – she’s so lovely on the show with a more natural look.
Hated her before. I don’t know how she grew on me. Probably because I began to like everyone else a whole lot less. Good to see a fellow Brandi fan.

Well, it’s her personal account and she doesn’t get paid for what she tweets to my knowledge.
She isn’t allowed by the courts to have her kids on the show or in pictures for the public from what I read quite some time ago. But Eddy and LeAnn can post all the pics they want. Maybe it wasn’t her week to have her kids. Doesn’t he get them half time??? I saw someone else said she’d be crucified anyway for having her kids in these sexy pics. I don’t want to believe this was some kind of *damage control* over Adrienne calling her a bad mother and some kind of druggie, I can’t remember her exact words but they were ugly and hopefully lies. I just like her so naturally want to think the best of her. Just imho..
Adrienne was using Brandi’s own words against her, since she had told Kim in the Ojai episode that she too had turned to alcohol and drugs after her divorce for a time, allowing her to let Kim know that she understood what she was going through. I don’t believe Brandi is a bad mother, as if she was, LeAnn would have no problem spreading the word.
I would not pick Bandi as a friend in every day life. However, she wouldn’t be in a ‘normal every day life’ would she? One thing I keep thinking is – when she’s with her kids does she edit her language and behavior? The anger, acting out, etc. Or – is she just a character on the show and she’s someone totally different in her “real life”. I wouldn’t let my children be around her home, nor her due to her potty mouth and various language issues. She can unload some mean profanity & name/lables on folks, and let’s not even talk about her temper.
My daughter tells me she learned the f word from me. Sometimes I edit my mouth, and sometimes I don’t. I’ve known people like Brandi and find her to be a very interesting person I would absolutely have as a friend.
Then you & your kids are being deprived of a wondferfully fun person. I’m sure she edits her mouth in front of her kids b/c she NEVER speaks ill of LeAnn or Eddie in front of them. Many women who don’t use f*ck badmouth ex-spouses to the children.

I would call Adrienne’s comments as inappropriate as Brandi’s. Adrienne was angry, so she said whatever. Same as Brandi. I don’t believe Adrienne’s statements are true by a long shot. If they were (and they are not) Eddie and LeAnn would have taken custody away from her. Brandi may have her quirks (which I find makes her loveable) but she is very good mother and obviously loves her boys.

Jeez, girls, we should be supporting a fellow sister here. She hasn’t murdered anyone and she didn’t cheat, her husband did. For all we know she was a good wife and is a good mother. All I want to say to her is, Brandi, I wish you well and, seriously, dump those shoes.

She is a hunk of crap troublemaker. She plays the victim, but is the antagonist for much of her problems. She gets drunk and falls down a lot too. The last thing i saw her tweet anout her kids was that she couldnt wait for them to leave to go to a party because they were making her mad. She is NOT a nice person. She is an embarrassment to women.

Yeah, I get Brandi’s tweets too and have never seen how post anything about not being able to wait for her kids to leave. Other that is something that was taken out of context, or simply didn’t happen.

Those are your words, not mine. Just to make sure I hadn’t missed something, I went through Brandi’s tweets for the entire month of December, and never saw the words you attributed to her. Perhaps she retweeted what someone else said, I don’t know. I just know that I’ve never seen the tweet you claim to have seen.

She tweeted about the photo shoot either last week or the week before. Seems to me she is only taking advantage of opportunities offered to her. I say good for her. Since she was/is a model I don’t see why anyone would be surprised. IMO this was just another way for her to help support herself.
Not that I’m a Brandi cheerleader but I don’t think this was a Christmas card photo for her kids to b in anyway. If her kids was in the photo then it would be “omg look what she’s wearing in front of the kids, her butt is almost out”. it’s supposed to b a sexy fun shoot. Love the photos. I don’t think the motive is to look better before next week’s episode. I just think someone suggested she have some fun with the camera that day and she said wth why not and did it. Good for her!
If her ex has not agreed for the boys to appear on the show, I would suspect he was not agreed for them to appear in photo shoots either, or it wasn’t her day to have them. Either way, I think the photos are lovely, and hope she gets more photo shoots going forward.
You think she got paid for this? More likely she paid someone to photograph her. She’s no model. And no one would want her to represent their product.
She and her photographer should have orchestrated a wardrobe change.
these look like “candids”….doubtful that this is an actual shoot—too many styling details and technical shooting details are off– Brandi actually was a successful model once upon a time and did a lot of German shoots back in the day (1990s)…for girls her age though (who didn’t manage to steer careers into mogul status like Cindi, Tyra, Naomi, Heidi, ect), you either evolve into a “mature” model doing missy shoots for catalog (like those fat checks Cynthia Bailey can stack doing just 4 days work), or you marry VERY well like Yolanda Foster. Then there’s that last tier of model that just never had a plan for what happens after 30, doesn’t map out a plan B or C or Y for themselves, and well…they end up broke, busted and disgusted like Brandi.
It’s a shame, because she really could and SHOULD still be working considering she’s still got her figure and has aged okay for a model: those freakin’ Sunday circulars of women in missy clothing pay a base of $1500 a day for the regular old girls, girls on Cynthia’s tier (for clients like Macy’s) get $3-5000 per day (I’m pretty sure there was a time when Cynthia likely hit $7,000 a day for catalog), and then the superstars get ridiculous amounts. If Brandi gets her book together and locks down an agent on each coast, she could very easily be struttin’ in in those Mother’s Day dresses and leisure pajamas for Kmart or some random Canadian retail chain and not have to be crying about money and what Eddie didn’t leave her with. I guess the shoots Lisa hooked her up with are a step in the right direction, as she’ll have some new tear sheets to get her started, at least. That being said, I’m not sure how the reception from US clients would be for her now because she acts so crazy on the RHoBH, but overseas clients in Europe don’t watch/know about the show and probably wouldn’t care. I think I’d rather see her go back to modeling rather than do this reality show, because it’s really doing her no favors in terms of public image or reputation. She’s still a good looking girl, but she needs to get her hustle on, stop acting a fool, and extricate herself from all the nastiness she lets herself wallow in on national television.

C’mon, this is after all the place of kookey crazy so that’s why I’m here, too- inserting my kookey crazy like everyone else (smile) — but If it feels wrong to anyone, that’s cool, i certainly didn’t mean anything bad by what I said. I was just relating my experience in knowing how bookings work, and as a person who has worked in an agency environment, and has also been on the client side booking girls and being responsible for the paperwork that gets them paid. Cynthia’s rate from former years I know from booking her at height of her popularity. I know agencies, bookers, and day rates all across the board (shrugs shoulders).
As for Brandi… in all seriousness, I think Brandi can still work if she just FOCUSES. Just on the basis of what she did before as a model it really shouldn’t be that hard for her to sign up with the commercial division of an agency like Michelle Pommier, or pick gawd knows which one on the west coast and start modeling sportswear for Suzy Shier, or hell, even some dumpy hausfrau catalog like Otto Versand; and I know the general public doesn’t see catalog modeling for what it really is, but the fact it, it is the bread and butter of the fashion industry and pays incredibly well, whisking off teams to sunny, all-expense paid luxury locations while they shoot.I know everyone is different, but if I had a choice between sitting and stewing in some city being surrounded by a bunch of crappy people vs. working and hustling my tail off to have my own….I’d go back to shooting, even in Missy size church lady suits.
I know a lot of people don’t think Brandi’s attractive (likely because she’s so damned crazy), but i think she STILL looks good. Brandi is also the exact type of face that we use for travel advertising (think mega resorts like Sandals or Tui). I*ve done the TUI resort shoots before and we generally use 3 archetypes: they super young couple on the honeymoon full of love and hope, an old white haired retired couple enjoying their sunset years, and the mid-aged couple happily settled in life; this last one uses girls who generally look like Brandi- nearing 40, might have a line or two on the face, but can still rock a bikini. It’s not the same pace or allure that you get working for editorial like Marie Claire, Vogue or Elle, but it’s not a bad life at all, and certainly beats sitting around ranting and raving about some dude who’s long gone, ain’t comin’ back, (and I’m speculating) wasn’t that willing to fork over money for the lifestyle to which she had become accustomed while married to him. Between the photo shoots Lisa is handing her, her sheets from magazines since she joined the show, and a few tests…I’d take that, the book advance, and run so far with it—modeling Playtex 18 hour bras for K-Mart and giving everyone my big fat middle finger while i live my life independently and care for my children.
Good, sensible advice for Brandi. Hope she takes it because she’s becoming a Tamra Barney, Jr. on RHoBH.
