It seems people can’t stop talking about Kyle Richards inviting Faye Resnick to dinner on the last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If you are a Kyle Richards fan, she could really use your help over on her Bravo blog. Today her comments passed the 1,000 mark. I didn’t scroll back very far but they were all pretty blistering and I didn’t see a single one supporting her. As I said earlier, Faye Resnick’s blog was pulled a few days ago. Apparently, she could not weather the storm of her own commenter backlash. I still say that the number of comments a Bravo blog gets plays a part in whether or not you are offered a contract next season. If I’m right, Kyle can take heart in the fact she’s all but assured a return for the next season. Let’s take a look at who stands where with regard to Faye Resnick.
This is Kyle’s story and she is sticking to it despite the fact that no on one planet Earth believes this version. “Lisa said that maybe Faye was speaking on my behalf “once again”. Well, first off, I have never needed a mouthpiece. I have always been one to be honest. I told Brandi how I felt about what she said right away. I have NEVER needed anyone to speak on my behalf. Plus, Faye certainly has a mind of her own and would never be anyone’s mouthpiece. If Lisa was referring to the “Dinner Party From Hell” with Alison Dubois, Lisa knows as well as ALL of us, I had NO CLUE what we were walking into that night. I had never met Alison Dubois. None of us had. ANY speaking up Faye did that night was purely as a friend being defensive. As any good friend would.”

Of course Adrienne is thrilled. It seems pretty significant that she mentions only Mauricio by name here.Adrienne: “First and foremost, I want to thank my fans for your kind words through this very difficult time. Also, I’m grateful for the support for all my girlfriends on the show and Mauricio, he is an example of a true gentleman. It’s difficult for me to elaborate on the events of the last few episodes; I am still in the process of my divorce and under a gag order, which prevents me from speaking about my family.” (TT note: I wonder which party got the gag order on the other. It seems that both parties were running to the tabloids during the divorce. Also interesting to see that Adrienne is still fond of Mauricio.)
But four of the other housewives are pretty clearly on team Brandi.
Lisa: “We were invited to Kyle’s house for dinner. If I had known that Faye was going to be there, all clued in, on what was supposed to be a secret, I would have possibly refused the invitation and advised Brandi to do likewise. I have memories of another dinner party where Faye was back up, mouthpiece, or whatever one would like to call her. It was an impossible situation.”
Yolanda: “Now, who is this Faye, and more importantly, why is she not minding her own business? I am not certain why she wanted to put herself into the line of fire with Brandi and Adrienne. This matter is so not her business. I can’t imagine inviting my best friend to a Housewives’ dinner and having her insult my other guests.”
Marisa: “I don’t recall Brandi asking Faye for advice; it seems they don’t even know each other. In fact, I don’t recall Brandi asking anyone for advice on the Adrienne matter. This is an issue between Adrienne and Brandi and should remain between them.” (TT note: This is Marisa’s first blog. She seems sane, and non-confrontational. That can’t possibly last, can it?)
Brandi: “Kyle brought her pit bull-slash-puppet Faye “Rancid” in to attack me about events and things she had nothing to do with and wasn’t even present for. It was very obvious she was fighting someone else’s fight for the simple need for attention, which has been very clear since 1994.”
Both Taylor and Camille are riding the fence in this situation. In fact, their comments are nearly identical as they refuse to take a side publicly.
Taylor: “Faye has known Adrienne for a long time and is not afraid to speak her mind. She has seen Brandi’s tendencies to gossip and attack. She saw how hurt Kim and her children were last year, she saw her attack me out of the blue at the reunion and she is close enough to us all to see how much pain she has caused. Faye is entitled to her opinions, just as Brandi is.”
Camille: “Faye’s one tough cookie. Brandi is no shrinking violet. Both can handle themselves. Everyone has the right to express their own opinion. Brandi had every right to excuse herself from the table. It was getting very uncomfortable for her.”
Well, how would “SPLITS RICHARDS” like if she was invited to someones house just to be attacked. (CAN SOMEONE SAY ALLISON DUBOIS?) She didn’t like it. Aa a matter of fact, she got so upset , she turned Kim! Made poo Kim ride home by herself & wouldn’t even answer poor phone calls!
I watch RHW of whatever to feel better about myself.
This is some messed up people. EVERYONE SEEMS TO HAVE A HIDDEN AGENDA and the gossip is off the charts!!! I work in theatre and most of us get along. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Some of these women simply make no sense. As for Faye or is it Cato I confuse them. Doesn’t matter, same agenda. Kyle who? I did not know anything about this woman, until the show. I think there is some jealousy within the family tree. Sorry, just saying… I do think I like Yolanda, she seems genuine. Lisa needs to kick some butt and lose the polite for an evening, that would be worth watching!! Thumbs up!!!!!! The only person I have even heard of on this show is Kim Richards. God bless her.

I am new to this website and forums in general. Tamara is very well respected so I thought I would join this one.
Here are my thoughts and I apologize I have a lot of them.
I am reminded of Faye Resnick almost everyday. If any of you know Miami you would know that we have a commonly used road called Abe Resnick Blvd. I later drive on a road that makes me think of William Levy so at least I end my day on a good note

*** For the record Faye indicates that her mother was Corsican and Castilian. Her father was English per Faye Resnick herself. Check out the Geraldo interview on youtube. Her and Geraldo were “friends” back in the day.
I believe she has been married more than three times and her daughter’s father is the very wealthy Fadi Halabi.

Why do we all of sudden think this women who is friends with Kris Kardashian and has done everything she has done in her whole life all of sudden have a moral compass?
I think since she has not a “true” contract player she felt she had some room to express her disdain for Brandi and her actions.
I really think she was trying to have Adrienne’s back. She has been friends with her for almost 20 years.
Kyle clearly stated that Faye did not like Brandi due to last year. She should have a discussion with Faye that she didn’t want any drama but HS without drama wouldn’t be a show.
I wonder how Mauricio even has a business when his wife acts like this on national tv? He seems to be the only one on the show with a moral compass but he should have Paul & Adrienne’s back since Paul did do his mother’s facelift. By the way he did a great job!

I honestly am not a huge Brandi fan. She highly annoys me. I don’t understand how this women says the most hurtful things to people and then plays the victim when people take offense to her comments.
I am still upset with Lisa that she didn’t shut up Brandi when she was telling Adrienne’s business at her tasting party at Sur the week before.
Lisa kept asking Brandi questions to get more information from her in front of all her uncomfortable guests.
I was shocked that Kim was the only one that spoke up when Brandi & Lisa were discussing Adrienne’s very personal matter. Kim knows better than anyone how hurtful Brandi can be & how damaging her comments can be to one’s family.
I wonder if Lisa keeps Brandi close since she knows all the dirt on Lisa because of Cedric (name from the past)? Lord knows Brandi cannot be trusted and Lisa must know that.
I wonder if Yolonda is still running the hills since she is afraid her husband is going to leave her for a younger model:)? By the way Yolonda you look great!
@Indian Barbie. Hi and I am new to Tamara’s site too. Adrienne has only been in LA for 15 years and Paul Resnick’s daughters hated her. I’m quite sure she wasn’t invited on double dates with them. Rancid may have known of Adrienne but she was not bff’s with her that’s for sure. Faye was a drug addict for many years and maybe still is. That is not Adrienne’s crowd.
ITA with you on how can Mauricio have a thriving business with Vyle as his wife. But I had forgotten Paul did M’s mother facelift. And I absolutely agree, Paul did a fantastic job,
Kim’s choice of venue for telling Adrienne is questionable at best. Brandi was not making a beeline 4 Adrienne to chat her up. So what was her motive for that particular moment? Scripted? U be the judge.
IMO- Lisa genuinely likes Brandi. They share the same zaniness and I think Lisa likes playing the role of ‘taking someone under her wing’ so to speak. I personally think they make for great fun and I hope they remain friends. Brandi would not dish on Lisa or anyone. As she said, she is reactive NOT proactive. Besides Brandi is the sort of friend that has her friends’ backs at all times. She can be trusted b./c what you see, is what you get. I really like her and she brings out the best in Lisa.
Is Yolanda running for the hills? I think she is classy, beautiful and very European. Very much in love with hubby too.
@Indian Barbie I forgot to add that Kim NOR anyone spoke up when Brandi was speaking. IF ANY of them truly found it wrong, it seems to me the time to say it is when Brandi is speaking. 1) to shut her down and 2) to show moral courage and integrity. If I was Adrienne, I would be equally disgusted with the rest of them for not stopping the convo.
I HATE Josh Altman. He epitomizes the slick con artist IMO. That said, the girlfriend works at Mauricio’s Agency. Josh works with his older bro at Hilton& Hyland who was his mentor. There would be no reason to change except if he and his bro were to start their own agency.
Oh, and I must say I don’t see where Brandi plays victim. When she screws up, she is upfront and owns it. It is refreshing to see especially with people like Vyle and Trailor who have all kinds of excuses when there are NONE.
Lisa was very hurt by Adrienne the depths of which I don’t think Adrienne understands. I say Adrienne is not getting it only b/c she had so many problems of her own, financial and marital, that I doubt she could focus on anything else. Lisa runs a biz in the heart of BH where there movers and shakers may frequent. If they thought Lisa was selling stories to trashloids, they would frequent no more. So Adrienne hit Lisa in the gut personally AND professionally. IMO-Adrienne didn’t mean it that way and is not seeing the consequences of her words. That said, Lisa would of course encourage Brandi’s ‘secret-telling’ b/c a) she knows Brandi has been hurt by Adrienne (how I don’t know) and b)she gets her digs at Adrienne vicariously.
I have never seen Brandi throw the first punch. But she is not a shrinking violet and will fight back. Good for her I say!
Lastly, Brandi didn’t know Cedric. That was just a scripted storyline in order to create the initial dynamic and intro to Brandi.
I love how you avoid recapping the shit Kyle and Kim did to Brandi, instead a cting as though brandi just attacked them for no reason. They were horrible to her and didn’t even know her. Kyle was quite happy to bring up Brandi’s child and insult her skills as a mother, or to laugh as her sister, higher than a kite, hid the girl’s crutches. You may not like Brandi, but quit trying to edit what went down. We all saw it and you are in a very small minority by praising those beasts, esp Kim. They struck first and Brandi nailed them. People love Brandi cuz she is real and doesn’t need others to protect her or fight her battles. And she never attacks…she comes back at you.
I hope u were not addressing that to me b/c I absolutely agree with you. The Richards sisters were so low rent and ugly to Brandi. I don’t know where Brandi found the stomach to be in their presence. Kyle knows no one is believing her lies. Kyle is so vile, she goes after her own sister. Leave your damn sister alone and let her focus on her recovery. Don’t go after her over petty shit. Kim was right, if Kyle was such a good friend to Andrienne, she should have spoke up regarding the matter of Brandi / Andrienne.
Then, Kyle NEVER spoke up and said a word to Faye during the Faye / Brandi incident. That tells me she sanctioned what Faye was doing.
I also don’t like how she is so critical of Kim. She’s not the goody-goody she wants people to think she is. Throwing Kim under the bus saying she wasn’t invited to Vegas and acting like the victim, shameless. If it meant that much to her then she should have called off the party and went with her sister and nephew/niece.

Yeah, I thought that whole comment about not being invited to Vegas was out of line. Clearly, these girls were raised differently but in my family “what happens at home, stays at home”. When Brandi called her out on the crutches thing, Vyle could not even own her role or admit, she was just as guilty if not more so than Kim. Kim was higher than kite, what is Vyle’s excuse? Faye Resnick per her own words is not African American but Caucasion. I remember her being asked the question of her ethnicity many times during and after the OJ Simpson trial. She also wrote 2 books during that time on her relationship with Nicole Brown Simpson and the aftermath of the trial. This was her claim to fame along with her pictures in Playboy. Seeing her again brings to mind all the crazy during that “Trial of the Century”. She seems demure now in contrast to her ” fifteen minutes of fame frenzy” close to 20 years ago.

I know Faye’s family. I have known her since she was 9 years old. She was not truthful in her book about many things. She is Puerto Rican & Black as well.
Faye Rancid is not only a moron but a liar. She totally screwed over her ‘bff’ (NOT) Nicole by writing a book that was based on Faye’s drug feuled fantasy. While she was complaining OJ was abusing Nicole & pretending to be Nicole’s friend, she was desperately trying to keep a friendship with OJ as she wanted the freebies. One reason Nicole was so angry when she was murdered. Her ‘friends’ showed her no loyalty.

I would never invite someone into my home to be treated like that, particularly by a friend of mine. If my friend had things she wanted to say to someone, she is free to do so elsewhere, where other’s don’t have to be subjected to it. Brandi was a victim in that instance and handled it far better then I would have, and likely did so in deference to Kyle who really didn’t deserve such deference after the way she has treated Brandi in the past. Again, Brandi doesn’t owe Faye Resnick an explanation or an apology, nor should Faye decide how Brandi should handle a situation she was not a part of. Yolanda reacted to what happened that night in the same way many, many fans did judging by the reaction Faye got on her blog, and that Kyle is getting now.

But the gander in question would be Adrienne and not Faye Resnick who is not a part of the cast, and did not hear what Brandi said first hand. I find it suspicious that Kyle and Mauricio were so bothered by Brandi’s words, yet neither of them could be bothered to speak up right after the words came out of her mouth! Of course, the fact that Kyle keeps repeating what was said, says even more.

Faye is acting like a bitch. I don’t have friends like that – they don’t attack strangers for personal gain. She was cruel and tactless and vicious, and since a person is known by the company they keep, that says a lot about my lessening opinion of Kyle and Mauricio. I get it – they have to do outrageous things to keep people interested in their being on the show – but it’s a fine line. Two outrageous – as Faye and Kyle were last Monday – and you turn fans off. I am definitely off those two and if Faye continues on the show, I’ll turn off the show.

I don’t know exactly what Faye’s ethnicity is, but I would imagine that she is bi-racial and should be able to portray her racial identity in any way she chooses.
@Pinky. She is not african american. She is biracial tho. That is the problem with term ‘african american’ Not all blacks are from Africa. It is a catchall term that doesn’t accurately reflect heritage. Besides I’m of the mind that either they are American or African. e.g., There are a gazillion blacks in UK. They are not referred to as african-brits. They are brits and proud of it.
Ummmm, ALL Blacks are from Africa. In fact (to go back further in history) EVERYONE is from Africa. Many Blacks scattered in various parts of the world were dispersed in the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
That is the opinion of several anthropologists. I don’t happen abscribe to that theory b/c how do you explain aborigines? That said, I am neither black nor from Africa albeit I have been there. My point is >80% of blacks living today in US are American born and have never even been to Africa. The remaining 20% are in large part from caribbean or central & south America. So what is the purpose of referring to all blacks as African-American? It is is disingenuous and patently not true in many cases.
I get what you’re saying – most African Americans were not born in Africa, thus, the reference African-American is incorrect. Still, they are of African descent thru ancestry as are those living in Europe and South/Central America.
As are all people of every race.
The problem here is that Faye has but one side of the story complete with embellishments I am sure, because that is what usually happens when information is passed 2nd and 3rd hand. The fact that this is the first time she and Brandi were meeting made the attack that much more reprehensible. I think Kyle as the host, should never have brought the situation with Adrienne up in the first place, or should have cut Faye off when it was obvious she was behaving like a dog with a bone.
Now, in regards to the first “dinner from hell”, what is interesting is that as we find out in the extended episode that was shown later in the season, Faye and Kyle had already discussed the issues with Camille from Kyle’s point of view, and Faye had already dug up dirt on Camille, making it appear that Faye did indeed go in prepared to fight, just as she did this season with Brandi. As odd as Alison DuBois was, she was standing up for a friend just as Faye was, and just as Lisa was when Kyle shut her down at this new “dinner from hell”. Kyle had a few supporters on her blog on the first day, including one person who was going from blog to blog supporting Kyle, but I think the negatives simply overwhelmed those that were positive, for good reason.
IF Vyle found Brandi’s comments/actions so deplorable, then what the hell is she doing repeating them with Rancid doing precisely what she accuses Brandi of???? She had no business TELLING Rancid in the first place. Vyle is NO friend of Adrienne’s or ANYONE for that matter.
Something’s wrong with Faye. She comes across as…off. She’s got this affect I associate with people who are troubled. And her words don’t match the emotion in her voice. She’s saying very charging things, making very emotional confrontations, but…it’s all in a voice that’s practically monotone. It’s either a combination of bad acting and botched Botox or she’s got some kind of personality disorder.
Or, you know, both.
As far as I’m concerned, she’s a 55 year old still looking for her taste of fame.

Faye has never been an actor. Her only job was a supporting role for Nicole Brown Simpson. Her 15 minutes are up.
This is my first post, but I have been visiting this site for a long time. What I need to understand is if Adrienne is also mad at Kyle for discussing “the secret” with Faye. Because if it’s such a big deal, she should ba mad at her and suing her too right? And also Faye, as I don’t believe she never said what the secret was in her confrontation with Brandi and seeing as though Marisa and Yolanda weren’t involved in the original conversation, what makes Faye any different than Brandi besides the direction of the malice?

I was appalled by Faye Resnick’s behavior and can’t imagine watching any more episodes if she’s in them. There is something about the woman that just brings the worst out in people – she’s a huge negative force, cruel and cold and calculating. She made absolutely no sense as she tried to justify each and every attack – and Kyle. just sitting back and allowing it to happen in her home, that was inexcusable, the kind of behavior we indulged in in grammar school. Kyle has somehow slipped lower in my opinion; Faye’s existence doesn’t even register.

Perfect. I won’t ever watch another episode that Faye, the whore, is in. My opinion about Kyle is getting shaky. How could Kyle lower herself to be with Faye.
You r both right she has triple divorces, a ex cocaine addict and alcoholic, a gossip and sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong. All of a sudden she’s acting big sister to those she could of cared less to help a few months ago. Is it all for show??? Hell yes!
