Just a few thoughts on the Leann Rimes interview. First of all, she met Giuliana Rancic because G made a comment on her reality show that Leann did not appreciate. When opening the Chicago restaurant someone asked G what celebrity she would like to feed at the new restaurant and she replied along the lines of “Leann Rimes looks like she could use a meal.” So Leann contacts her through twitter to attempt to change her mind about her. Sound familiar? That’s the same thing that happened with this teacher that she is suing for mean tweeting her.
The fact that both women have pulled their hair all the way around to one side is very distracting to me all of a sudden. I want to know who changed theirs to match. I would guess Leann copied G but I can’t be bothered to go back and look. Leann has a tendency to copy other people’s looks and bikinis… Anyway she going on and on about her parents divorce and her father managing her career. Leann uses a lot of cliches, sometimes incorrectly in an unusual way. She is one of those people who says “like” a lot. She talks about herself in the third person. I’m bored.
G asks why it is important for her to speak out now, and calls Leann a private person. Really? Because I see her dragging photogs in her wake everywhere she goes. I’ve seen her in every swimsuit Brandi has very owned. I’ve seen her tweeting pictures of her every move on twitter. Which is fine if that is what she enjoys doing. But she is the polar opposite of a private person. BTW, if you care about her answer she said it’s because she trusts, G. Leann is connected to Eddie because they are both only children. See? It’s things like that, that don’t make sense to me. The words all go together but the meaning is just out of reach.
Leann is giving the same old cheating story every cheater gives. Nothing happened with them during filming. Wait, wasn’t there a picture of them kissing in the restaurant? Maybe not but I thought there was. She says they started sneaking around with him after filming ended. Here’s another “I don’t think anything can separate anything that is super connected. You might have had so many wonderful things with each other and each others spouses in your relationships but something along the way broke that.” She pauses between every word while giving this pronouncement. I’m going to need a translator. “You can’t break whats broken already.” That one takes about five minutes for her to get out. Then she starts sobbing hysterically while saying one word….then…another…word. This is painful to watch.
There is way more “package” than interview to this hour-long interview. We get two sentences of interview, then a packaged piece, then three sentences. Then a package. It’s weird. Now we are hearing about how hard it was for her. Breaking up two marriages is apparently a very hard thing for the homewrecker. Apparently, the point of this interview is to make people feel sorry for Leann. She had a hard childhood, she had a hard divorce.
Now Eddie is cuddly up with Leann to talk more about their connection. He says connection at least four times in three sentences. G asks this question, “It seems that Leann got the brunt of the bad press in all of this, would you agree?” Eddie says this is unfair. Eddie says “Nowadays it’s become fodder. It’s become people’s modern day soap opera. And that is what they try to create and what people still try to perpetuate.” Really? “People” are doing that Eddie? Now your wife who tweets her every move and bribes people to bash Brandi? Many of the packages include Brandi and Eddie with the boys. Yet Brandi can’t even let them attend children’s birthday parties on RHOBH. Brandi was pissed about that. This show may get a judge to allow the boys on RHOBH if she wants to revisit the issue.
G asks about the twitter wars from the perspective of Leann being bullied. She doesn’t ask about Leann’s lawsuit. Leann’s comment about the twitter situation was she had bigger things to worry about. Really? I thought she went to tweethab about the tweets?
In closing Leann says she wants to have kids. Then they show a ton more pictures of Leann and Eddie with the boys. So there you have it. If you didn’t watch? You didn’t miss a thing. I’d like that hour of my life back.
Ugh. How awful that you had to watch that. I think she’s just the worst.
I don’t know much of Leann Rimes but I always question anyone who makes the “sobbing sound effects” but simultaneously manages NOT to shed a visible tear!! Tamara? I am amazed at how thorough your work is and how much fun I am having joining in this crazy realm of reality shows. Kudos, my friend!

She has some of the worst drawn on eyebrows on the planet. If I could give you back that hour I certainly would.
perfect recap…I just wanted to comment on the other point she tried to make but in her broken english I honestly don’t know if I can duplicate even the sentiment….but it was something about the hurt and that the most hurt that she and eddie perpetuated was on each other….heck, I just almost made it sound rational…but she sure didn’t…..She couldn’t string three words together and I am dumber having watched it. E! owes us big time.

I adore Guiliana but would have hoped, regardless of ratings, that she would decline to do this kind of interview. LeAnn is action packed with issues and this televised one-sided discussion of her delusions ain’t gonna help anyone! Food for thought, though T, who is the douchiest ex, Eddie or Kelsey? Poll that Andy Cohen!
Do you honestly think the judge would allow Brandi to film with the children? I know Lisa Wu-Hartwell had the same problem with Keith Sweat.
If LeAnn can’t have her own children, she may be plotting to get Brandi’s children.
I saw her on Katie a few weeks back and same thing….she appeared not all together there—and clearly she wanted to be seen as the victim in everything. Very tiring to watch. In fact, she’s one of those people that forces you to look away from the screen because she’s so awkward and ridiculous and you can’t believe she’s for real.
Don’t laugh, but I expected Eddie to be more….intelligent. To be honest he wasn’t much better than Leann at sounding coherent.

How come it’s ok for them to show pics of the kids all over the place but Brandi can’t???
People would probably cut LeAnn more slack if she would just be quiet! Stop tweeting and trying to explain all the time. And have some respect and some boundaries with Brandi’s kids!

Wow Guiliana, what a hard hitting interview. That was so boring, I could barely get through it. I learned Leann loves to touch her hair every 30 seconds and place it behind her ear. She and Eddie are both cheaters and deserve each other. He will tire of her and cheat again. She should keep her mouth shut about they boys.
Most are under the impression that he’s already cheated. It was speculated to be a reason for her rehab stay, other than her tweet “addiction”.
Leane need to eat a cheeseburger or 4, Eddie is dumb as a rock and in the words of my husbands 95 year old grandmother “Honey, if he will do with you, he will do it to you”… He will get tired of her crazy and move on to another crazy. Men like him always do.

late here but newer to your site and just clicking links on left of your page. watched part of this interview on youtube and did you notice the appraising look leann kept giving giuliana while pretending to cry? ugh. i had liked her from what i’d seen of her since her childhood, but between the twitter nonsense, deliberately breaking up a marriage with young children, and using those children for attention and to hurt the ex wife, she comes across as total scum. cibrian, as the father of those kids and as a supposed husband to his wife, is even worse. hope brandy glanville has come to realize that those two creeps deserve each other and never looks back.
