The Kim Zolciak family drama continues to make the tabloids. I broke the news exclusively at Tamaratattles that Karen Zolciak was suing her daughter for visitation of Brielle and Ariana. Karen filed the motion with the court stating, “ Plaintiff is seeking the right to regularly see her granddaughters, who are the daughters of Kim Zolciak Biermann, who is a star on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The girls live such a crazy, abnormal life being on T.V., they need a normal haven to relax and unwind and just be kids. Plaintiff was portrayed as a bad person on defendant’s show Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding which featured defendant’s wedding to Kroy Bierrman. In addition, plaintiff claims she has not seen defendant’s new baby since he was born.”
Since the filing, Kim has responded by asking the judge to throw the case out of court. She was unsuccessful. The girls have both given affidavits saying, “We both love our grandparents, but due to their actions at the wedding of we have grown apart.” Next I gave y’all the exclusive tea that Karen was approved by the courts to file forma pauperis after filing the paperwork proving that paying the court costs for the filing would be a financial hardship for her.
Shortly, after I posted that, Joe allegedly took to phoning TMZ at 3a.m. to call Kim a pathological liar and point out the parentage of her children. Karen was supposedly on the phone to ROL an hour earlier claiming Kim uses the children as pawns. I find it crazy that those two would be drunk dialing tabloids at 3 a.m. and that both tabloids had someone in the office at midnight their time to write up the stories. But apparently that is what happened in the wee hours of Monday November 19th.
Because today TMZ is reporting that Kim has filed a motion “last week” to place a gag order on her parents. This is one of those TMZ stories with no quotes, and doesn’t even pretend to have a source. So I did some checking, a motion was filed on November 21, two days after the drunken media incidents with Joe and Karen. It’s likely that it is pertaining to the tabloid incident. I have not seen the actual motion.
Here’s the thing. If Joe and Karen had an attorney, which they don’t that attorney would tell them it was in their best interest not to drunk dial tabloids about their daughter while they are in a sixty day mediation process. It’s just not a good look for “doting grandparents.” That same lawyer would go before the court and point out that Kim has her own larger platform, Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Kim and Kroy make undermining comments about the Zolciaks. Is what’s good for the goose is good for the gander a legal term? No? Okay, how about the whole “clean hands” argument? Whatever, I find it highly unlikely she will get a gag order. However Karen has filed pro se and has a fool for a lawyer so who knows?
Anyway, that’s the latest tea. Then next scheduled court event is a mediation next Thursday. I expect Kim’s lawyer to tell the court mediation has been unsuccessful and another 60 day period may be set. However, since this is about visitation, it may go straight before a judge. Stay tuned.

Kroy did say it was the first communication from them since the wedding. I’d be embarrassed to be on TV pretending to be rich while talking about how poor my parents are. But that’s just me.

Zolciacks seem like a family that has run schemes together in the past, and always shared the $$$. Kim seems like a con artist, as does her father and mother. A bunch of fast talkers. Kim came up got greedy and wanted to cut them out.
Hi, Tamara. You know what’s confusing to me? It’s the episode where Kim makes the comment about the birthday card her parents sent with the $25 in it. She said something about that being all they could afford.
So, she is accepting a birthday card for her son from her parents but she doesn’t let them see the girls? Is there still some communication going on? She didn’t ask “why are they sending my son a birthday card” or anything like that. She seemed to have accepted the card and money.
It may be me but it’s just a bit weird to me.

First I gotta say…she needs to dump the wigs!! She looks a thousand times better and dare I say, a little less trashy. Second…they all need to shut up and figure this out in private. Life is too short & it seems they will figure that out the hard way. I do believe that kim is a pathological liar, along with being a gold digger and just flat out trash. LOL Tamara, too funny! As drunk and inappropriate as Joe and Karen are, it was easy to follow that train of thought. While I’m feeling bitter and snarkier as the holiday approaches, may I also point out that had Kim arrived on the scene looking like she does in the above photo instead of bad wigs, she’d be taken a lot more seriously. xx
Have to point this out – Some websites, like TMZ, publish stories for the next day at 3am automatically from their wordpress. They have stated this before when questioned re: time of posting.

She should be SO ashamed of herself on many things but disrespecting her Mother-She must have forgotten all the times they have been there for her & the girls when she didn’t have anyone or any $.
