Lilly Ghalichi is the new addition to Shahs of Sunset Season 2. As I told y’all here everyone is coming back except Sammy Younai. I think Sammy lost a lot of his fan base as the season progressed. His behavior in the finale last season, particularly with regard to his treatment of MJ was a problem for many viewers. So Reza and Mike are the only two male members of the cast for the upcoming season.
Lilly is … um.. let’s just say she asks us not to judge her on her appearance. I must confess I am already judging her by her appearance. Lilly somehow made it through law school, but decided what she really wanted to do was sell bikinis. Let the Persian Barbie comments commence.
It’s not hard to find a picture of Lily on the Internet. It is hard to find a picture that she didn’t take of herself in a bathroom mirror. There are literally hundreds of those. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say she is self-obsessed. I’m also going to predict right now that GG is not going to like her. In fact, GG may lose her mind and attack her. Which will be great TV. Lilly will be hawking her swimwear and her fake eyelash line all season. Enough about her. I am really trying to reserve judgement but it’s hard. She takes more pictures of herself than Kim Kardashian.
In other Shahs news, someone falls in love this season. I’m still waiting for that person to give me an interview on the subject and I am growing very weary of waiting. In all fairness, she has been very busy with her music career lately. You may be surprised to discover who she is in love with. It’s someone you all know. That’s enough on that for now.
The season finale was filmed this past Saturday at a sold out El Rey where A$a was performing. All accounts have been glowing reviews. I am so sad that I missed it. The host of the Persian Palooza was Reza Farahan and that had to be fabulous. I’ve got some more Shahs Tea but I’ll save it for now. Season Two premieres on December 2 on Bravo. I can’t wait! It’s going to be a much longer season and the drama is intense. They go on more than one trip this season and some drama went down in the Mexican Rivera!

The real Shah on Sunset, who has dabbled in reality TV before, is Sam Nazarian. He owns half the clubs and restaurants in LA. He was on the Hills, I think Heidi’s “boss”. Personally, I would like to see people like this on Shahs. I really don’t think we are getting the real rich and how they live on this show, though I will continue to watch
With the new cast member, I’ll admit i saw nothing but boobs when I first clicked on the thread, lol.
I’m interested to hear what Asa’s music will sound like. Very “Six Degrees Records”, perhaps? I like their artist roster, Asa seems like the type of artist that fits

Any idea why Sammy has always said on his Twitter account he’s on season 2, including as recently as yesterday? Is he completely gone from the show or is it like a RHOOC situation where past Housewives still make occasional appearances on the odd episode here and there?
He won’t have a “storyline”. He’s not an official cast member. On RHOBH Lisa’s friend Mohammed manages to be in an episode here and there. He is so adamant about being on it seems like he went to a few of the events. He’s off the payroll.
The most ironic part about Sammy being dropped from Shahs of Sunset is that he was the person the producer from Ryan Seacrest Productions first approached about doing a show about the Iranian community in Beverly Hills and asked to recruit the other cast members. The irony that he’s the first one to be dumped is not lost on me.
He wasn’t…let’s say….he wasn’t given a very good edit. His treatment of MJ was horrific to watch. He seemed likeable enough at the beginning and then things just went downhill. While all the cast had their good and bad aspects, Sammy became more and more misogynistic, at least based on his editing, and deceitful. This does not play well with the Bravo demographic that is mostly middle-aged housefraus.
Sammy was boring so I don’t mind him being gone. I’m kinda disappointed that Anita wasn’t made a fulltime castmember. Hope we see her again.
And bravo has a trailer up for the upcoming season. LOL at GG getting pushed down by Asa.

Sammy finally admitted on his Twitter account that he is no longer a full-time cast member but will appear as “a guest.” But he still managed to make sure he hurled some obscenities at some people! I wonder how much his deplorable conduct on Twitter towards people contributed to his being fired from the show?

I love the showz! Im not persian but i enjoy the cast & have turned 3 good friends on to the show. I like everyone but asa. Shes over the top with her wierd headbands & diamond water rituals, does she really believe in that stuff or is it just for tv? Her boyfriend jermaine jackson is fine! Why didnt we ever hear of her before from the jackson family? Is she accepted by his family or not? I love lilly & gigi. Where can i buy her hair extensions??
