Several people asked me today about a rumor about Melissa Gorga saying that Tre called her daughter Antonia ugly. I had no idea what they were talking about until a reader sent me the link to Tre’s personal blog (Thanks Michelle). It seems that in the print version of the US magazine pictured at left, Melissa once again dragged the children into the RHONJ drama. Don’t you just love the bullying accusations on the cover. What is it with these housewives crying that they are being bullied? Anyway, Teresa took to her website to deny the story and tell Antonia that she loves her. Tre first briefly addresses the claims Melissa made last night about not wanting her kids to go to school with Teresa’s. According to Tre, they are not in the same school now so she would not have to move for that. You can read what Melissa had to say about her move back in May here.
I’m not even talking about her ridiculous claim that she’s leaving her “dream house” because she doesn’t want her kids to go to school with my kids. Our kids are all in school now and they don’t go to the same school already. She can stay in her dream house. We all know that’s not the issue…
Then Teresa makes it clear to Antonia that she never said that she was ugly. In addition to the statement below, Tre posted some pictures of herself and Antonia at the same age and pointed out their striking resemblance. Which of course means Antonia is beautiful just like aunt Tre!
Someday when Antonia is able to Google her own name, she’ll find the evil story her mother told to a magazine about me calling her “ugly” (I can only pray Melissa’s words were taken out of context by the magazine and I hope Melissa sets the record straight with Antonia privately, even though she didn’t publicly) but I want Antonia to also see my response: it’s absolutely NOT TRUE. I adore you Antonia, and I adore Gino and Joey. You are my blood. You are Gorgas. You are beautiful inside and out!
Every time I see that cover, I think of the whole, “You are the devil! You are wearing red!” quote from the reunion. I wonder if US weekly asked them all to dress that way?
I am really sick of everybody blaming Tre. Lets be honest, Tre is not smart enough to do all the things her family is trying to pin on her. I really feel bad for her. Melissa really sucks and I dont care Kathy with those BIG eyes. Also, if Melissa hates Tre so much she needs to stop copying her
You don’t have to be smart to do what Tre is doing. She is a fame whore and doesn’t want anyone in her family to have attention. She wants to be seen as the queen.
Melissa and Tre are two sides of the same coin but Melissa presents herself better. She knows when to check herself in public. Tre claims to be Mom of the year and that she is “showing her girls what a strong woman is” yet all she showed them she wis willing to sell her soul for bling. Nothing like teaching your daughters that it is ok to be disrespected by your husnand (several times) in front of millions of people as long as you get jewelry.. She also showed on the reunion so far that the only road she knows is the low one.
IMO T is her own worst enemy. She wants to be the victim yet there is nothing to show that she is. She isn’t a sympathetic character. Just think how much more sympathy she would have had if she played this differently. She is to blame for Melissa looking good.
She is a liar. She continues to lie and isn’t very good at it. She stole $11 million dollars and then lied to the courts; she takes no responsibility for her bad behavior and feigns innocence; she starts trouble for attention; her children are ill behaved and out of control and uses them to work her agenda; makes excuses and justifications for her husbands illegal antics and abhorrent behavior towards her and then wonders why people don’t like her even though Melissa and Kathy came on the show. She isn’t a sympathetic character and she could have been if she played this differently. She is everything I don’t want my daughters to be and nothing I would want in a friend.
Teresa has some major issues and could use some help as could that entire family. I also don’t believe that Mom and Dad Gorga are blameless. THis mess started long before Real Housewives and will continue long after The Gorga parents are the ones who raised these two egotistical, competitive and not very bright children and don’t seem to have done anything to try to make it a cohesive family. No one is blameless but until Teresa takes responsibility for her own actions nothing will ever change.

I don’t know when this was said, but if it was before filming, then I can see how T is mad that M acts all goody two shoe. If someone said this abt my child, hecks no. don’t care who ur married too, there could be no pretending.

So Melissa expects us to believe she’s moving because of Tre? LMAO, how comical. It’s also comical that Melissa keeps dragging the children into an adult matter. She accused Tre’s kids of loving Antonia, but said when they grow up, they’ll bully her. That woman is not sane and is a horrible liar and an actress! She and Sheree should come out with a movie together.
Here is how that works (and I cant believe I am defending Mel in this..) Teresa and or her husband say negative things about Mel in front of their kids.. Milania has said ” Melissa Sucks” and Gia has said several negative things like ” Melissa just controls zio Joe” and Melissa lipsynches (when she had never seen Mel perform)… Now they are young, but if that continues, they are going to start saying that stuff to Antonia and the 2 little boys (and believe me, they will, one of these little passion plays happened in my own family between two of my mothers siblings and their kids)… Antonia is a soft personality, Milania is a ball breaker (and let me say I love Milania for it) when they hit Jr High, if the negativity continues it will not be a good thing…
Now let me also say that I am in no way saying Mel is a victim here.. I think she secretly RELISHES playing the victim, and Teresa, in this case, completely gave her reason to go all drama on the place..
Maybe you need to watch the last two seasons. Joe and Melissa talk so much smack about Terasa in front of their kids too.

sweetnessnbubba, your comment is exactly what I thought Melissa was trying to say about the children all going to school together, particularly when they are older, and getting picked on or made fun of. I think the comment is true for Tre and her girls too. Mel has her fans and Tre has her fans, they don’t get along and all the children will have to pay for the ugliness going on between these two women, IMHO.
Oh and here is the quote from Melissa in US magazine. Melissa is referring to a conversation with Teresa after Antonia was picked up by a child modeling agency. ““Teresa called me and said, ‘I heard Antonia got accepted.’ The she was like, ‘Yeah the ugly kids always get picked’”.

Tamara, I don’t think they posed for this cover at all. I recall seeing all 3 of their pictures taken at different events. They photoshopped it together. And supposedly nobody gave quotes to the magazine. They digged it from past blogs and interviews.
