I don’t even know where to begin to discuss last night’s finale. Let’s start at the salon. I did get an answer to the question of why Baldy was even at the salon with a mic on walking into a scene being filmed. He didn’t work at the salon at all. He was there just for the scene. No big shocker there. So Baldy was a plant there to put the whole “set-up” into action. What I still fail to understand is why anyone believes his whole conversation with the fat lady at the cake table. Clearly, Baldy was called in to be a shit disturber. Anything he said all night was scripted crap not some overheard conversation he didn’t know was being taped.

Also at the salon where Kim D is gleefully spewing about Melissa to Baldy, the editing is such that it appears Tre was just around the corner listening. Tre has denied this saying she was downstairs. The editing on this episode was pretty awful. Kim D has a “frankenbite” where she calls Tre back into the room and the editing shoes Tre’s feet as if she was right outside. If we have learned anything from the Real Housewife franchises, it’s that any sound editing that doesn’t show the speaker is patched over later, as a “frankenbite” to make it appear something happened that did not for the purposes of the storyline.

Let’s talk about the fashion show. Caroline arrives and says it took her an hour and a half to find the place. But later, Melissa calls Joe in the bathroom and he arrives with a mic pack on what appears to be a short time later. Also, for a target, Melissa seems cool as a cucumber. Innocent little Jac doesn’t go to the bathroom with Melissa to give her a heads up. No, our innocent Jac sits at the table and texts with who I now firmly believe was a producer (yes, I saw her tweet denying this, I no longer believe Jac) and then passes it to Lauren and Caroline so they can be in on the set-up too. Nary a Manzo or a Laurita does a thing to alert Melissa. They just keep texting with the producers. This leads me to believe that Melissa knew what was going on the entire time. It looks to me like Teresa was the only one blindsided last night. That’s just my non Tre Hugger opinion.

I know I am not going to convince anyone that Tre is the one who was set up. I would think that as someone who has not been very supportive of Tre and as someone who has pointed out Tre’s lies this season, that perhaps it will give some of you pause. The fact that I believe Tre was set up in this case doesn’t mean I am ignoring her jealousy of Melissa, her lies about the ten magazine articles she gave, her delusions about her marriage and her entire life.  I’m just saying that this big finale set-up about nothing was done to make Teresa look bad, not Melissa.  And for many people, myself included, Bravo’s big plan backfired.

The real story here is Jacqueline. The very next morning after the Posche Fashions Show was the reunion for the previous season. Everyone was able to make it except for Jacqueline. Why? The Gorga family has been torn asunder! Melissa has been exposed as a stripper! Tre is the villain! Kathy is part of this family that was broken! Yet they all made it to the reunion. Why was poor delicate Jac so hurt by Tre that she could not show up to a mandatory reunion show?  Jac sure spent a lot of time on twitter the days after the PFS tweeting angry tweets. Jac was hopping mad. Could it be that one line of Tre’s that I felt was so laughable until I actually watched the show, “Someone is getting set up here and it’s me! And you are a part of it!” I saw yes. No one expected Teresa to see through Jaq, especially Jaq.  And Jaq has spent the last year being very defensive.

Who was the only one out of the loop and made to look like a fool? Teresa. So I am not ready to label myself a Tre Hugger. Tre still lives in a fantasy world where everything is unicorns and rainbows. But I would give her a hug in this case.

And next week on the finale, who is once again irate, over-reacting to things that do not even concern her and swearing on her autistic child (her exact words) at the finale next week. That would be sweet innocent Jac. I wonder why of all the parties involved, Jac, who is supposedly not involved at all is so pissed off. Thoughts?
