This is the post that I don’t know how to write. I want to talk about tonight’s season finale of RHONJ. I may or may not wait to hit post until after the show. But honestly, I just don’t GET it. I might try and watch last week’s episode in a rerun before tonight’s episode. But frankly after today’s CLEAN ALL THE THINGS! freakout, I’m showered fed and ready for bed. I may be too tired to sort this mess out, so I’m going to ask y’all to help me.

Let’s look at the two scenes from last week directly related to this whole debacle ….

In what I will call, the “Salon Scene” … well wait. I have questions already. Why is Teresa going to a salon she never goes to, for hair and make-up for the “Posche Scene” with Kim D? Whose Salon is this? This Angelo character whose resume includes managing a bikini bar has moved on to Salon owner? Bald hair salon manager? Hair stylist? How exactly is he connected to this salon? It seems his job is a fetch and step boy for Kim D. Exactly how far down the food chain does one have to fall before this becomes one’s professional fate? Did Kim D even have anything done at this salon? I don’t remember.

It’s clear that it was a set-up of Teresa. Y’all know I don’t take her side very often. However, I am still not convinced that the salon scene that aired last week was the original salon scene that was shot.  I was not buying Teresa’s constant, “I don’t want to talk about my fambly” and the whole fleeing the scene stuff.  I think Teresa may have freaked out at her honest reaction and begged Bravo for a reshoot where she comes off as more supportive of Melissa a few days after the Posche fashion show. If you recall, someone (likely Kim G) was tweeting Jacqueline about the “set-up” before baldy even showed up. Someone told Jacqueline that Teresa was behind all this and Jac believed them. Maybe Teresa was complicit at first and then somehow got Bravo to agree to a reshoot? I know for a fact that Bravo does reshoot scenes when a storyline changes. But I also know that it never happens at the request of a cast member (In this case Teresa) especially when she’s been in the villain role all season. I don’t think they would reshoot at Tre’s request. Still, the whole thing, including Tre’s reaction seemed fake. So maybe she knew exactly what the situation was when she went in to film? I’m pretty sure the storyline was written by Bravo, and all they had to do was ask Kim D and she was more than happy to be the instigator of the drama. I’m fine with the treatment she will get tonight from Joe Gorga. She’s the one with the most blood on her hands on-camera, even if she was just playing her role.

Then there was the big Posche scene.  This bald dude walks up to a table and says hello to Melissa.  I know I am in the minority here but I believe Melissa when she says she couldn’t place the face. I worked with 100s of people in just the last few years. Some I talked with every day and I’ll be damned if I can remember exactly where we worked together when I see them in the supermarket. Some people are not good with names and faces. So at the table, I understand Melissa’s reaction. And Tre’s reaction. What I don’t understand is the bathroom scene. Why are Melissa and Tre in the bathroom?  I guess Tre went in there to ask her alone about Baldy. I’m leaning toward believing Tre here. Why is Melissa calling her husband? I guess she feels the set-up. Cameras are rolling, Baldy is wearing a mic, I guess I can see her suspecting Tre. Tre has hardly been Little Miss Innocent this season.

To be honest though? Tre’s most serious crime so far at the fashion show is the hideous off the shoulder (shudder) purple sequence (shudder) mini-dress. And the matching sequence purple rose wristband thingy. I have to say, this seems like Bravo really ganging up on Tre. This is the closest I’ve been in many seasons to being a Tre Hugger, but in this case, she may actually need a hug. My opinion may change after tonight’s episode. But before we watch, could y’all please address some of my questions?  Please and thank you.
