Everybody who works for a Bravo housewives show knows that when they want you at an out-of-town shoot, you have to drop everything and go. We recently heard the RHONY whining about all the sacrifices they had to make to spend a week in St. Barts at a $30 million dollar home with all the booze and fancy food you can put in your belly. Life is hard for Real Housewives.
But this year the RHOA had a new hardship. The finale trip to Anguilla was over, and filming was all wrapped up except for a few odd and ends to shoot, when another out-of-town shoot was dropped on them. Everyone had to drop what they were doing and fly to LA to film with Nene (For RHOA) on the set of The New Normal. From what I hear, there were only a couple of days warning for everyone (except Kim Zolciak who is still playing the new baby card, she was excused) to drop everything and head out west. As you know, Bravo is an affiliate of NBC and NBC is really, really pushing the publicity on this show in hopes that it will be picked up for a full season. The bottom line is that despite this picture, no one was particularly happy to be there. No one is happy that Kim was excused either. Also, for those of you asking about “Nene’s House” in LA. She’s renting a pad to live in during filming. She won’t be buying a thing out there unless The New Normal gets picked up. Her main gig, that pays the bills is in the ATL.
LIKE I SAID Kim is a country no class hillbilly.
Well, glad to see Nene is being smart with her money.
Please, Kim (at least the old Kim) loves publicity in any form. I do think this new and improved Kim is really enjoying her family and would prefer the cameras come to her as they do for her new show, Don’t Be Tardy for the Eviction.
I miss Kim. She blocked me on twitter because she got her ass evicted and I blogged about it! 98% percent of the time, I’m her biggest defender!

Kim has a brand new baby. And 4 kids for that matter. She shouldn’t be going anywhere. Pheadra has her mom to take care of Aiden if she needs to go somewhere. If Kim went, everyone would be like “She’s a bad mother. She has a brand new baby at home and she’s out partying in LA.” Why would she want to hang with NeNe anyway?
The fact is Kim would not have gone period, because the trip does not benefit her!
If your job says there is a meeting in Las Vegas that you MUST attend and you are making in the low, high or middle six figures…are you gonna go?. Especially with nannies nurses and a contract that says you go when called. Now Kim…has Kroy . I am willing to bet she still has Big PoppA too….she don’t need to go..and TFTW made her enough to dragggggg it on out.
Those women are also sniping at each other. All hating on Nene and Nene gives back as good as she gets. What do you think Nene meant when she tweeted this earlier today? I think she is referring to Kim Z not being there and getting paid anyway..

Ladies stop hating between each other, God has bless you all to grow and become a celebrity, I surely wish that was me, I had a downfall with my health, I am better now and starting with my career and hope to do commercials. I don’t know ladies bless each other and stop hating, nene has came a long way. Forget the pass, help each other and be thankful. These things can be removed, so you better stop fighting.
So was it true that all the ladies banded together and didn’t film until BRAVO addressed Kim’s non-filming? Any scuttlebutt on the outcome of those negotiations?
Nah, that was an exaggeration. They all just got kinda pissy.
Kim was also filming her Tardy show too, so that is why she got some slack. She was busy being evicted and birthing babies on TV and stuff. 
Have they been filming since April/May? This seems to be longest filming time. Normally, we would expect to see the show around October/November. I wonder if season 5 will start this year.
The show premiers Nov 4th. To me it feels like season 4 just ended. They haven’t gone away long enough for me to miss them yet. Plus there are too many HW shows on at once.
There does seem to be some preferential treatment for KIm. I remember when Phaedra had her baby, she still had to go to Florida. Phaedra had a C-section!! I hope the ladies don’t kill each other. Kim may be like Lisa Hartwell on her last season. Bravo will not acknowledge it until the last minute.
Why should they drop everything they are doing to support Nene, when Nene never shows up to their events and when she does she stands in the corner the entire time and bitches?
I can understand why they’d be pissed. I can’t picture Kim going to LA to support Nene? Haha, I wish Sheree was still on the show. Could you imagine her reaction?
It looks like all of the Housewives are getting along. Nene in LA, and Kim staying at home. Are we in for another boring ass season?????
Um no. I don’t know why everyone seems to think they are getting along. There is a new model on the scene who is doing the exact same “modeling”/pageant thing as Cynthia. (Kenya) Kenya was brought on by Nene but she denies knowing her and they end up not getting along. It won’t be boring. It will be Nene-centric though. Kim will be evicted so if they show that, that will be fun… It should be fine.
Please tell me it wont be Nene centric. I dont find her all that interesting! I appreciated the fact that she was calmer last season, but she does not engage me enough to be THE focus.
You know what is so ridiculous about NeNe? She has a shoe that’s being sold & supposedly the proceeds go to teach young women about self-esteem & to teach them how to avoid the pitfalls of domestic violence yet she’s always been the one to be the aggressor pointing in people’s faces & being loud & obnoxious? I guess marketing magicians are behind this shoe deal….
