I am going to attempt a blog about the premiere of the Real Housewives of Miami, but if and when the live feeds for Big Brother come back on, I will lose all focus.
I love Ana immediately. Karent is annoying me already. I was expecting to like her. I hope she is not on the Marysol, Alexia, Ana side. Oh good. Karent is jealous of Ana. Perfect. Rodolfo seems like a slimebucket. Clearly Karent’s parents, especially her mother see right through Rodolfo. It seems like Rodolfo and Joanna’s men get outted for being douchebags early in the season. This pleases me. Oh look Romain is the bartender on WWHL right now with Joanna and Lea. So Joanna stays with the douchebag. That pleases me too.
I already hated Lisa and Joanna from things I read during filming, so let’s hope they are on the same side as Karent. This leaves me with Lea and Adriana to sort out. I already feel like 8 housewives are too many. Say what you want, Alexia is a full housewife in my world. Lisa’s first line was whining about the heat. Foreshadowing? I just can’t stand Lisa. And now, we are moving on to Joanna. Joanna is an abject moron. I’m not even sure I can watch. If they film her ridiculous PETA nonsense I’ll have to FF though her scenes. She’s very pretty. Oh here we go with the PETA crap in her first segment. Joanna is coping to being the alcoholic housewife right off the bat, but she wants us to know she is not a bitch. Then she says a lot of bitchy things about Kim Kardashian.
I don’t remember Adriana from season one. She’s quite annoying. But I think she is the one that slaps the shit out of Joanna so I am going to try hard to like her for that alone. I love boats and I like her husband, but that is quite the serious refit he has undertaken. I hope we get to see the results.
Mama Elsa is the best! She doesn’t like limousines. They are uncomfortable.
Lea looks like she will be on the same side as Audriana. I like Lea. She’s an interesting character. I’d forgotten that Lea and Marysol had a falling out. Hopefully those two will mend fences for the sake of the original RHOM alliance.
So it will be great if the factions split the way I want with Alexia, Marysol, Ana, Lea, and Adriana one side and Joanna, Karent, and Lisa as the shunned new girls. Get on that Bravo. The only new girl I want to see getting air time is Ana. I only want to see Joanna, Karent and Lisa suffering for my viewing pleasure. I’m sure some of you will like the new girls which is fine. I love to argue.

I just want to know why Daisy, the housekeeper, who is a recovering alcoholic and is studying to be a Pastor is getting new bigger boobs as a gift from Lisa (a self-proclaimed professional housewife). Why does a Pastor in training need bigger boobs?
I thought that whole thing was ridiculous.

Just as Atlanta had the smalls vs. the talls last seasons, this season of Miami will be old money vs. new money which is basically the younger ladies vs the older ladies. From looking at the promos as well as photos of the cast out about the past few months, it looks like we have Ana, Marysol, and Alexia on team old money and then Adrianna, Karent, Lisa, and Joanna (and sidekick Marta) on team new money. Lea thinks she’s above it all so she won’t really be a member of either team but she will have the typical interactions with them both (with her fab drag sidekick Elaine Lancaster for backup of course). I hope this season gets the viewers, I enjoyed the first episode, and I’m looking forward to those yet to air. The one beef that I have with this season so far though is that there are just entirely too many people on the canvas. It’s like Tamara said, we basically have 8 housewives (I think the limit should be 6 max) and then we have all these B characters who are going to get screen time as well such as Marta, Mama Elsa, and Elaine Lancaster. It just seems like a little overkill in the casting department, but hopefully this formula will make for interesting entertainement.
I loved the premiere! Lisa is my fav already. Ms. Leakes should try to take notes from her, since she was “looking” at $9 million houses lol

Adriana is heat on heat and she brought the real to the live reunion last year like no other before! Plus looks like she slaps Joanna hells yeah! however something tells me if Joanna and Lea were sitting on WWHL then Adriana and Lea must not be so tight now. I’m so glad this is all starting when BB is winding down woot woot!!!
Lea didn’t look too enamored with Joanna. Then again, Lea is always a bit …above it all. I’m sure she finds the completely vapid Joanna beneath her. At least I hope she does.
oh lawdy me too! I LOVED every shot of her whether in t-shirts or cocktails dress that she is DRIPPING in jewels! hahaha it’s so gauche in an oh so bad good way. I’m excited to see how this plays out. and mama Elsa riding in the front of the limo…Miami sure does play by its own rules. Can you imagine that going down on RHOBH?!
