Luann kept her distance from this Pirate in late July not wanting to cause another scandal…

Let’s start with Luann. Luann keeps it short and sweet.  Well, perhaps not so sweet. She seems to go in on Ramona a bit saying, “Ramona was angry with me for speaking the truth and she was taking the focus off of herself and putting the blame on me. I wasn’t surprised that she did this and I took it in stride.” Is it opposite day? I’m no Ramona fan and would love to see her off the show entirely, but this one was all the Countess. Her little interjection made here tryst with the pirate a distant memory.Heather’s blog on the other hand she takes Ramona’s side and though she understands that Aviva was under a lot of stress doesn’t condone her behavior. So she seems to be more positive toward Ramona. Which makes sense in this case, but she does go on about it suspiciously long.

Carole essentially says that 46% of women have anal sex and it should not be such a taboo. Also, she seems to be complimentary toward Ramona’s unusual diplomacy and then admits she left right after the dinner event to go stay with Russ. Unfortunately, she got a morning text to return to the house. I can hear the Big Brother voice saying “You are not allowed to talk about production!”  I can’t blame her. The whole trip was her idea to take a break after finishing the first draft of her book and to see her boyfriend. As any number of the RHOBH would say, “It was my day!” Or with that ass, perhaps it was Russ’s day.

Sonja is apparently unclear on why the girls went to St. Barts where Russ is. They always need a reason for these trips and they finally had a better one than Phaedra needing to visit her royal friends. According to Sonja, “The purpose of the trip was always supposed to be a girls’ trip even though Aviva kept suggesting that we invite significant others. I did not have any problem with Russ visiting. He always came after rock star hours and Carole would visit him at his hotel. He knew why we were all there.”  Sonja is apparently another Alice in Wonderland fan. Who knew? I’d accuse her of having the same ghostwriter but she clearly writes her own blog, like 90% of them do, the language is a dead giveaway. At any rate she had this to say about Alice, “Before I go further I must tell you something. My favorite Alice in Wonderland is “The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones mad to live, mad to talk.”  I doubt Sonja ever read the book and only saw the porn version of the movie. The majority of Sonja’s blog focused on her being the victim of Aviva’s wrath without claiming any responsibility at all for the brawling.

Ramona gives a lucid and accurate description of events. Which continues to shock me. And ends with, ” You will continue to see Aviva being relentless with us and her displaced anger and contrived stories in the next few episodes.”  So it seems like it’s not just Sonja who refuses to be around Aviva and that Ramona gets to that point too.

Aviva’s blog was up first but I read it last expecting it to be long and full of rationalizations. It was short and full of rationalizations.  I have anxiety issues myself. I understand her irrational behavior. When you are all hyped up on the crazy, it seems like everyone is out to get you. She needed a safety zone when she arrived to the house desperately and what she got was  Ramona and Sonja and Luann fanning the anxiety flames.  This is the time that the people who are not in the middle of anxiety issues need to be a bit understanding and less self-involved. That didn’t happen and Aviva blew her top. It seems clear to me that fences were never mended between Aviva and Sonja and may be still broken between Aviva and Ramona. Aviva still seems to feel justified in her behavior despite some small concessions regarding wording.

The interesting thing about this week’s batch of blogs is that overall Heather and Carole seem to be more open to Ramona and Sonja and putting a slight but significant distance between them and Aviva.  Is this the end of Team New Girls? Or is this just a temporary reaction to Aviva’s momentary loss of sanity?  Thoughts?
