You can still tell me! I am not that comfortable going out alone at night so I head back to the hotel and hang out for a late happy hour and relax in the room. I'm on Otrabanda side at the Kura Hulanda. I was going to Blues tonight for Jazz night but couldn't work out a good way to get there. Taxi was $25 each way! Today was my first day on the island and it was SO HOT that by nightfall I am exhausted from the heat. What casino has loose slots or good table games? I went to Renaissance and Howard Johnson today. The slots don't even let you pretend you are winning they just take your money and you lose. LOL. I'm having a good, low key time. Had some great fried snapper w/creole sauce today a the "marche" (old market. Tomorrow I think I will go to the beach. Give me advice!

I really don't think I will watch L&HHAtl. I may change my mind but I think Straight from the A has some good stuff on it. She knows lots of people surrounding that show. I have no sources (at least now) regarding the ATL music scene, I'm not really into it. but @ATLien is well connected.

It was glorious, I am going back tomorrow and Sunday. The water is cold but not too cold just cold enough to make you do the bikini dance when it hits your belly. The alcohol was reasonably priced. There breeze was lovely, there were plenty of chairs under real palm trees, there was some eye candy, and some interesting topless grandmas. LOL. Can't wait to go back.
