There has been a lot of gossip (one of our favorite things!) surrounding today’s episode of The View which was taped on Wednesday. On the show today, Sherri Shepherd began the interview with Teresa by saying that Teresa refused to be on the same segment with Melissa and Kathy. Teresa acknowledged that she has not spoken to Melissa or Kathy since the reunion show and she thought it would not be appropriate. I guess it is only appropriate to argue with family on your own reality show, not on a talk show. Elisabeth asked Teresa why so many people are saying bad things about her? She goes so far as to say, it would seem like it is you that is the problem, then she softens the blow a bit saying Teresa seems to have good intentions. Joy jumps right in and asks why everyone seems to be saying that fame has gone to her head, and requested her response to that. Teresa launched into her preplanned script about her Nephcure charity for The Apprentice. Teresa knows the Nephcure contributions are her best press right now, so she tried to shift the conversation to her accomplishments rather than how they may have affected her attitude. 
Barbara said that she needs to keep the drama going or she won’t have a show. Barbara admitted to not watching the show, so she just kept interrupting with questions about next season and who is coming back. Barbara needs to take a seat. Sherri asked why she thinks she should come before Melissa with regard to her brother. She said she doesn’t feel that way. Sherri asked if her brother and Melissa knows that because it sure comes off that way on the show. Everyone went in on her. Even Whoopi. Whoopi asked if she is willing to walk away. Teresa basically says no, I was there first. Teresa appealed to Joy saying that her family came on the show without talking to her first. This is one of the first times I have ever seen The View ladies gang up on a guest. There was not a single Team Teresa person sitting on the couch. At one point Teresa appealed directly to the studio audience for help trying to get them to say she should not be the one to leave the show. As far as The View interviews go, this one was rather brutal. They seem pissed that she refused to be interviewed with Melissa and Kathy. Sherri, who is usually pretty laid back, seemed especially irritated. So they went to a break sort of abruptly.When we returned, it was time for Melissa and Kathy. Elisabeth asked if they went behind her back to sign up for the show. Melissa said that’s false. She was interviewed on a Friday and told Teresa on a Sunday. Kathy said that they were called in for an interview and after being offered a role they needed to discuss it with their families first. During that time Bravo mentioned it to Teresa and Teresa lost her mind. Barbara suggested they reconcile and then come back and just fight on the show. Barbara is annoying.
Melissa found out on Tuesday that Teresa was refusing to sit with them on the couch. Melissa said she has no problem sharing the spotlight with Teresa. Melissa brought up the apology by Teresa in the press. She said that she didn’t ask for an apology or for Teresa to support her music. She simply wants peace in the family. Melissa said she tries to bite her tongue when it comes to Teresa for the sake of her husband. Joy asked if they are jealous of Teresa. They said no. Barbara kept asking if they want to come back on the show. They both said they did. Barbara asked if there will be another season and Melissa said she thought there would be. Melissa promoted her new song. Joy says Teresa is angry because she now has to share the family spotlight. I think she is right. Teresa doesn’t want to share the spotlight on the couch on The View. There was some gossip from an “anonymous source” claiming Melissa was heard threatening to confront Teresa on the show and that is why Teresa backed out. It made no sense. It was supposed to have happened on the set of The View but Melissa clearly stated she was notified the day before the show taped that Teresa did not want to be in the same segment. To me it seems obvious that after the taping Teresa’s people knew it went badly for her and they put out the negative gossip on Melissa themselves. Melissa also denied the allegation on twitter.

Where oh where did I make any attempt to belittle you? And here I tried SO HARD to make it clear that I wasn't talking about anybody here!To make it clear, I was referring to a few blogs in particular which have either been overrun with rabid Teresa fans or out-and-out BOUGHT by them. Without mentioning their names, I WILL say when I read the Team Teresa comments written there I'm either shocked beyond belief by their sheer ignorance or I laugh myself silly – they really are great comic relief. But since you insist on pursuing this, bringing up "airing out dirty family laundry" (NEW PHRASE, PLEASE!) is something Teresa should really stfu about at this stage of the game. The only person who is selling out her own family for chump change (i.e., the rags) is Teresa. It seems to me that the rest of her family has gone above and beyond the call of duty in trying to accommodate her. Enough, already. Leave her alone and let her stew.
@Ivy I have been sooo busy lately that I have not had time to read any new comments. First let me say I completely disagree with you about Teresa. I think you just dont like her and your not open to any other views which is fine. Im on no ones team but its kind of obvious that you didnt watch from the first season bc Teresa has not changed at all. I am not a fan either Im just a person who watches reality tv like most of you. I hate that bc I might not agree with you on Teresa that I must be belittled. I am my own opinion, damn this is America!! If you cant see how fake and desperate Melissa and Joe and kathy and Rich are then sorry. Thats on you. Caroline and Jacqueline are much worse in my eyes tho bc just watching how two faced Jacko is is sickening. And Caroline is so mean and cruel maybe thats why she is not close with her family, her and Chris were the only two siblings at her Brothers wedding!! On the other hand, maybe this IS her PR team (in which case, thumbs DOWN, PR team). Or maybe it's the unemployed members of the Giudice tribe earning their keep. Who else on earth would have the time or energy to endlessly post love letters to Teresa (most of them the length of term papers) night and day, seven days a week?
I have to admit that I am completely fascinated by Team Teresa. Their non-stop attempts to tar and feather anyone who doesn't agree with them is the closest I've ever come to experiencing what it's like to wrangle an angry mob. And I disagree that Teresa is NOT behind all of the rumors that have been started about her family. I think that she's behind each and every one of them, if for no other reason then the fact that they're all so friggin' stupid. And mean.But their efforts to depict her as some kind of martyred saint makes for some amazing reading. Another thing: Teresa admitted that she'll jump at the chance to do S5, apparently regardless of whether or not Melissa and Kathy are signed up as well (which they certainly will be). So she can't do a five-minute segment on The View without fear of being attacked yet she's willing to be on a TV show with them for a WHOLE SEASON?And I don't see how this can work anyway. Even now, a year after what we're watching now, NONE of the rest of the cast can stand to be in the same room with her. I really hope this is the end. On top of everything else, her voice is starting to make me want to shoot myself.
Just watched tonight's show and am getting pretty tired of Bravo's misleading previews. I am no fan of the Giudices, in fact the two of them make me sick and I wish they'd both disappear, but Bravo distinctly led us to believe that Joe Guidice made that offensive remark about Teresa DURING THE WEDDING CEREMONY instead of on the bus. Not that that makes it any less stupid, but come on, way different venue.Guess what, Bravo? I've already got a million reasons of my own to despise Joe Guidice and everything he and his stupid wife stand for. I don't need any help from you.

She and Elisabeth do a reality recap often and she seems to have a feel for the storylines. I used to dislike Sherri for all the reasons you do, but I sort of fell in love with her on twitter.

Yes Moxie you and I do agree on a lot!! However I have watched the show since the beginning and last season both Melissa and Teresa were saying horrible things about each other, and they both seemed jealous to me, of each other. How season 3 started was horrible you got to see exactly how Joe and Melissa felt about Teresa and the reason for them joining the show. Seeing how angry Joe was last season at that Christianing and him calling his sister garbage was the worst he even raised up against her! So all of this BS he is playing at this season is complete bullshit. NOt buying it!! This season Teresa has seemed to be more oblivious about how her family and friends feel about her. And that is clearly seen on the show, she thinks everyone is still her friend. Which makes me feel bad for her, is she innocent, NO but how they are behaving makes me have sympathy for her. This show needs to stop I mean it, it is too damn dark for me and not entertaining and all I do is get angry when watching it! Bravo needs to recast the entire cast or cancel it!!And what they are doing to their children is ridiculous!! Melissa and Joe were having a horrible relationship with Teresa for YEARS before they joined the show and that is why I do not care for them or believe them. This never should have happened fame is not worth this. Tamara I finally watched the view and the person who upset me the most was Sherri!! She seemed to have a real issue with Teresa and I don't understand why because the questions that she was asking showed that she had no knowledge of the show so its obvious she does not watch it!! I don't get it like who does Sherri think she is with her 9 abortions (sorry had to go there) she is NOT an authority!! And she is slow and I hate how she does her sons voice!! moxie can i just say word!!!to your entire post! finally someone says everything i want to say! just want to add a couple things: i am team no one. have not watched all of every episode, cause these fools raise my blood pressure dangerously high. the sense of entitlement that they all cling to, just frosts my cookies. that said, teresa is a dangerous combination of not too bright, needy and desperate. the best move she has made is to surround herself with a good team, that does their best to protect her from herself, as much as possible. you can tell by the look on her face every time she goes off script. and no matter what any of them say, they have absolutely no desire to stop the drama, cause the drama is the gift that keeps on giving. for all of them. and as a former child services manager, let me just say that what these adults are doing to their children – ALL -of their children, borders on child abuse. i cannot imagine what these children are facing in school, on social media, and out in public every day. each one of these so called responsible adults should be asking themselves if it is worth it. they made the financial messes that they are living in; i do not think they should be so willing to sacrifice their children's well being to fix them. jus sayin…..chitown shelley
Bio Teacher – I see where you're coming from now and we actually agree on most points. My initial post was in response to stories that were out there making Teresa look like an innocent angel and I didn't go into my thoughts on the entire situation. My issue with Teresa lies with how she handled the situation last season. In order to fix any situation in life you have to acknowledge the reality of the situation and recognize/own your responsibility in the situation. Teresa spent the entire Season 3 living in a lala land and doing neither. I don't think the problems (with Melissa & Joey, I don't know about Kathy) started with the show but rather when she married Joe and still put her bro first. Melissa/Joey/Kathy joining the cast was underhanded at best and cruel at worst. Since issues already existed between the couples (I don't know about Kathy at this point) going onto the show would never in a million years help to rectify the situation and it's insulting when they try to tell us otherwise. You don't fix a situation by making it more complicated. They are greedy and wanted their shot at fame. They probably felt they were owed it since the Manzo/Laurita clan regularly has their family pop by and since Teresa and Joey were so close. But they are owed nothing, a good brother would have supported his sister having success. If the situation were to happen to me where I was having issues with my sister and she all of a sudden signed onto a show that I had been on (and was helping me get out of bankruptcy) I would have flipped a fucking lid. It would be hard to handle. I don't like how T handled it though because she blamed the entire situation on them, said she wanted to make up but refused to take an honest look at the situation, made nasty remarks in her blog and on the show, treated her friends like traitors if they offered a viewpoint that she didn't like, etc. Then again, she was in defense mode and under attack by her family. Melissa and Joey did everything to prolong the fight also and are just as hypocritical in their words and actions. This season they are clearly not looking to heal anything. If I were Teresa I'd refuse to tape with them again period, especially after watching this season so far. She isn't innocent this season though, she continues to take digs in her blogs and on screen. I don't know about Kathy. I don't agree with her joining but since she's joined she seems sincere in wanting to make amends. You know who I blame the most???? BRAVO!!!! Their exploitation of this family situation is despicable.

From the first taping Melissa bad mouthed Teresa and said they were never speaking nor invited to family functions. Poor Joey didn't see his mother or father much because Gran was watching Teresa's kids. Turned out that was all untrue. Teresa pointed out the takings the year before with him and his wife there.They had a plan going in and I think Bravo exploited the situation with a twinkle in their eye. The odd nature of the family is what drives the force of the accusations and digs that continue. It is horrible tv! I watched only two shows, the previews of Caroline were appalling with her comments. Why does everyone site jealousy over youth and beauty?! I'd take a few strands of gray hair, wisdom, and intuition on when to back off over that and a squeaky voice any day!! Even a couple wrinkles…just a couple…like laugh lines. Lol. Money in the bank is the incentive my friends! They sold their soul for television and greenbacks. Is it worth it? I think the actions of that family is yes.I'm on the side of the kids personally. I think Bravo should start completely over and NO ONE showed I integrity this season…with the exception of big guy Albert! He was Switzerland in the preview. I respect that. Teresa was on first…she should stay…if so de used to stay with the original crew..perhaps Kathy would change her tune if Melissa wasn't in her ear. It seems they have had years to build their alliance and her husband is a loudmouth…I can see Teresa not liking him when he's insulting..joke or not. I feel bad but I'll watch the reunion just to see how Andy handles himself. I was disappointed last year for not calling Melissa out on many many things. Teresa needs to grow up…hell all of them do! First off Moxie I did understand that you did not believe ROL my comment was directed at the fact that you believe it was Teresa who leaked that story. Who cares? If my sis in law and cousin were bad mouthing me to the WORLD I would first kick their ass and second HELl no! I would not sit on a couch with them are you serious??? If you watch the season its clear that Teresa was oblivious to all of the things the cast is saying and doing behind her back. I mean all they do is talk about her before she enters a room. Why does she have to leave a show that she was on first? Why does she have to leave a show that's putting food on their plates? Yea family is important but that's paying her bills. It you follow the shoe for real and the gossip behind then you would know they got money issue. So reality TV is the only why to sell her brand at the moment. I don't blame her for not leaving. If it my career is taking care my child why would I leave? Why was the asked to be on the show? Bravos doesn't just go up to anybody. They went to them for a reason DRAMA and they got it. This family barely spoke before those two got on so it only got worst from there. I'm sorry I just don't get why everybody thinks T is wrong. Nobody wont even say on camera straight up what the problem is. Because they really don't have one they just need a story line. If it wasn't for Tee it would be Kathy who? Melissa who? They would be nobodys.So if this was just a regular job (that paid their type of money lol) not on TV I strongly doubt Kathy and Melissa would have tooken the job if T boss would have "interviewed" them.So look how it goes they was asked on the show for some drama they took the offer no one (well at least people who care) wants family business aired out on TV that's too much. this whole drama about Teresa and her brother and his wife is just strange and not believable for a grown adult woman to be jealous of her brother and his wife. You would think Teresa and her brother had more than an sibling relationship. Her kids are brats, but whatever is going on they are acting up. If Teresa really had her Family –her Kids –not her brother in mind, she would quit filming the RHofNJ shes already proven she can branch out with books, her Celebrity Apprentice she is a Hu$tler. If Bethenny Frankle can brand herself and get a talk show then Teresa should be able to do the same.
Well. Melissa & Kathy deny going on the show behind her back! Okay, so giving her a call 3 days before isn't going behind her back? They had to audition to be on the show! Don't tell me that Bravo came knocking on Kathy's door when 1/2 of NJ applied to be on the show.
Bio Teacher – I think my message was either misconveyed or misinterpreted. In my earlier post I was discussing how what I watched on TV disproved the crap that ROL was feeding to us. I'm basically over all of the smear campaigns put forth by the Real Housewives of any city. Some of them, especially with the NJ Housewives, are so obvious that it's almost insulting. That's why I find it comical that Teresa fans are actually buying the whole Whoopi story. Ivy – I was thinking the same thing! Teresa always claims that she'll do anything to fix her family. I guess that comes with a caveat excluding leaving the show, sharing the spotlight, or therapy. Even before they joined the cast she wasn't willing to share the show at all. The other families always seem to include family members here and there (heck, two episodes are devoted to Caroline's brother). RHONJ has turned so dark and negative. I'm not a fan of any of the cast at the moment.
Just watched it and WOW, those women were NOT buying what Teresa was selling. And shouldn't there be a time limit on how long she's allowed to bitch about Melissa and Kathy coming on "her show?" It's been almost two years and the only people who are "airing dirty family laundry" are Teresa herself and her dumbass husband.

Moxie, that ROL story sounds hysterical. Whoopi HATES reality TV. All of it. I'm surprised she sat in on the Teresa interview. It would not suprise me if she asked to be out of the second one, BECAUSE SHE HATES ALL THE REALITY WHORES. But not because she felt sorry for poor little Tre.
Clearly the ROL story inventors don't watch The View or know a thing about Whoopi.

Radar Online put out a story that after Teresa's segment that Whoopi refused to be in the Melissa/Kathy segment because she was so upset with how they'd treated Teresa. I call complete BUNK! Had Whoopi or Sherri been in the Melissa/Kathy segment the couches would have been too cramped and it would have been too much. Plus, when have either of those ladies declined a chance to go head-to-head with some? I can't see Whoopi pulling a stunt like that, if anything, she'd want the opportunity to nail Melissa to the wall.Tamara, I'm glad you noticed that Melissa said she found out on Tuesday about Teresa refusing to film with them. That basically debunks the whole rumor of Melissa being overheard in the dressing room telling someone that their evil, diabolical plan to forever ruin Teresa was thwarted. A comment on a pro-Teresa blog that I read went so far as to say that Sherri was the one who heard and outted Melissa and that the recent rape threat tweets sent to Sherri were really from someone in Melissa's camp as payback. Only problem with that is that the threatening tweeter has been caught and it was all about Lil Kim. Team Tre is always good for a laugh, I just can't take some of them seriously! For the record, I am not Team anybody on RHONJ. I'm not anti-Teresa. I just think the stories that are being put out that are blatantly false, while entertaining, are starting to get to be too much. IMO, Teresa is losing credibility with each magazine cover and leaked story. She should be thankful she's getting a good Bravo edit.

Teresa did not want her sister in law, Melissa and kathy to be on with her as IF she ranks this special privilage @@ actors, singers, authors etc to have put in the education the training and the dues to be where they are at deserve to be asked question about their movie, hair, their babies their next project. Tamara you seem to equate the Househags or any reality show person on the same level as people who actually plan, educate, work hard to out their career in front of the cameras ? I use to watch RHONJ but not this season and I didn't even finish the last season because I thought it was silly that a family that has these many problems would want to air it out on television like this. These ladies, teresa, kathy and melissa have lost thier minds. My momma would have beat my butt if I was to put our family business out there like these ladies are doing. But they are getting paid to do this and I guess that is enough for them. I have posted here before about this mess and I will say it again melissa and kathy knew the situation going into this. Is the money that good that they have to continue on with this. And teresa knew what was going on also why would she let her family be portrayed like this? do any of these people think about what thier children have to go through at school because of the antics of thier parents. if they dont then they should ask brielle of altanta housewives. I know that kim stated that brielle was being bullied at school for something different but is she sure, are any of them sure? people in thier towns watch these shows and what you do or say on these shows can effect your children for years to come. you are already having issues in your family that are effecting your children why add fuel to the fire by putting it on television and your children living with the consequences that could possibly come from the children around them.And the ladies of the view. I saw Sherri Shepards reality show about her wedding and I watched her on dancing with the stars I was not impressed. I like a few of Whoopi's movies but other than that I am not impressed by here either. Joy Behar has been on there for a decade and a half, 15 years, and she has not contributed anything good in the time that she has been. Barbra Waters is currently having a PR problem about helping the media aid of Syrian President Assad so if I were here I would not talk. And finally Elizabeth Hasselbeck she came from a reality show and she only is on the view because Lisa Ling wanted to so something else. Elizabeth has been ganged up on by the ladies before and if anyone should have helped teresa just a little it should have been her.I am not condoning teresa's actions because they have fueled this season but to completely place the blame on her like these ladies and everyone else is doing is uncalled. no one is blameless in this mess and anyone who thinks that they are, is living in a delusional.
I don't watch The View that often, Mickey, usually only when there is a guest I am interested in. On those interviews it is very much "Oh Hai! Tell us about your new movie! I love your hair! Where did you get such a pretty dress! Let's look at pictures of your baby!" etc. Other than Bill O'Reilly's interview I've never seen them ask questions that make the guest uncomfortable. So not brutal in the sense of hard hitting interviews but brutal for what I've seen on The View. If I were Team Teresa I would be talking about how "mean" the ladies were to poor ole Tre. I guess to do that they would have to admit she acted like a prima donna and refused to interview with Melissa first though.
Okay first thing is you must not watch the view that often because this was in no way shape or form a brutal interview lol. Did they seem annoyed that they were not on together probably. If anyone was Team Teresa is was probably Elizabeth. I think Sherri may watch but not Whoppi, Joy or Barbara. If I were Tre I wouldnt want to be on with them either because it would only be an argument. I think Teresa was hinting that Melissa and Kathy should go. Regardless if they went behind her back or not Kathy and Melissa knew that Bravo wanted them to be on the show because of the sour relationship with Teresa. Them coming on the show speaks volumes about their character. I think it makes them all look stupid to be willing to air their family dirty laundry for the sake of fame and money. Hopefully next season that do some cast changes because everyone vs Teresa is already old. I liked season one where they actually showed positive family relationships and fun
That's ridiculous. When you watch the segment with Teresa the first words out of Sherri Shepherd's mouth were something like, the family battle has gotten so bad that Teresa refused to share the interview with her family members. And Whoopi usually just rolls her eyes when reality show people are on and even she jumped in to suggest that if family is the most important thing, why doesn't Teresa just leave? The View ladies were pretty nonstop with their questions about her behavior and not at all supportive.
You should see how Teresa's PR team is trying to spin this: According to Team Teresa, Whoopi Goldberg and Elizabeth H were OUTRAGED that Melissa and Kathy would dare to attack poor little Teresa and INSISTED that Teresa have her own segment. I'm setting my DVR for this and I'm not even a fan of the view.
I did not watch it however, im just so sick of the sutuation. The show is so dark and I know that if Teresa left the show it wouldnt last. I think it should be cancelled period. Watching a family fight on tv is not entertaining. And Im kind of upset that people thinks its a joke or even are putting fuel to the fire. I do think Teresa should have just filmed with them because now this is another thing that makes her look bad. The view is usually silly anyway. The only two I even like are Joy and Whoppi and even they get on my nerves at times. Bio Teacher
