Two Men Arrested in Tokyo Were Not Part of the Nicki Minaj Tour

Nicki Minaj has finally made a statement regarding the apparent murder of one of her concert goers in Tokyo last week.  The two men arrested in connection with the case were speculated by many including this blog to have been in Japan working on the Nicki Minaj tour.  Today Nicki Minaj finally addressed the rumors on twitter.

Saddened to learn one of my precious fans; found tragically murdered in Japan. My love & prayers are with the family of Nicola Furlong.

that person on your sight is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information.

There were also reports that the two men arrested were actually on tour with Japanese-American singer, Ai. There are not a lot of updates coming out of Japan or Ireland on this story. Funeral arrangements are underway for Nicola. Her female companion on the evening she was killed is said to have very little memory of the events because the two young women were drinking heavily. Nicola’s friend has returned to Ireland to attend Nicola’s funeral. Meanwhile, details of the autopsy have not been officially released.

  1. It is very sad that it happened and a very good reason for people not to be so drunk that one puts themselves in a victim-type situation. Predators are out there just waiting for moments like these. Very important to drink responsibly, your life is at stake in more ways than you probably know or could grasp hold of in a drunken state. Everything in life comes with a price and you did NOT deserve this. I am really saddened young lady that you lost your life. Blessings to your family and I just hope you were ready to meet our maker. Thanks!Lannette
