I don’t have a whole lot to say about Teresa’s actual appearance on Wendy Williams today. She came on, she told us that she and Joe have a fabulous sex life and that she would never stay with a man who cheats. She implied that she was a virgin when she got married. She watched Wendy sample huge platters of food she claimed had almost no calories. She managed to correctly identify chicken, green beans and cookies so her culinary skills are clearly improving. The only reason I am even blogging this is because I need y’all to explain the magic of television to me. Because Wendy came on and talked about last night’s Billboard awards and who won so it seemed like it was taped today, but we all know Teresa taped her interview last week. So did Wendy really put the same get up on this morning for hot topics and just pretend with another audience that she was about to interview Teresa? Did anyone else watch this show? I really could not pay attention to the guests because I was half asleep, half hung-over and trying to wrap my head around how the taping happened. Anyone?

I have a question, did the Teresa pre-taping happen before Melissa and kathy come on? Because you would think Teresa would have called Wendy out on that. I havent seen the show yet (i watch it on BET later tonight) but was that just not mentioned? also, i did catch a wee bit of watch what happens live with Melissa and Kathy (with Rich as bartender) and again, the topic was Teresa and Joe's relationship (her brother not her husband) its like, Kathy and Melissa have no lives? Is no one interested in either one of them and what they're doing personally? Guess not. After a while it gets old, thats all im saying.

i happened to catch an episode of RHONJ after not watching it for a long time. Its so scripted now..you can tell. I think a lot of this is not genuine–just made for tv. Even teresa hinted at by saying that people act and say different things once the cameras are turned on. I can totally tell with Melissa and Joe Gorga–just their conversations–it sounds like something they already talked about and are bringing up again for camera purposes. I mean really, Joe Gorga hands Melissa his cell phone to see what text he typed to his sister the other day? Im for sure she was right there when he originally texted it. But i guess that's more exciting that talking to the camera about your son's shoes/feet. Its getting more and more obvious that this is becoming mega scripted.
I thought the scene with Gia was scripted as well (by Teresa, I'm guessing). I've scene a lot of scenes with Teresa and her kids where it looked as if it'd been rehearsed several times.

thanks ivy. i thought i was losing it, cause when i watched this episode, during the bra talk between teresa and gia, i could have sworn that the camera focused on teresa's face as gia was speaking, and she appeared to be mouthing the same words as her child. i convinced myself that i was imagining things, but i watched a second time, and was sure that i saw the same thing. if we are right, what exactly is bravo doing? are there no true moments on any of the shows? i don't think i can keep watching if they're just going to make me feel stupid for doing so.chitown shelley
Yes! I have seen Teresa do that (mouth the words along with her kids) several times since the first season. All I can do is picture Teresa "rehearsing" these little scenes with her kids (she must write them, too – the dialogue is pretty lame) over and over again.
I think we have covered that most of these shows are scripted. They used to be exciting to watch but now its just a lot of mess they try to call reality. Its dissapointing really.
