Don’t mess with the tiger.

According to court documents obtained by EW.com, Kathy  Salem alleged that production did not disclose the entirety of the waiver that she signed and that “someone tried to strip [her] top off and another cast member by the name of Reza threw a cup of water in [her] face.” Salem alleges the abuse occurred after she was talking to a man at the party who was engaged to another cast member. Salem claimed in her suit that she was deceived and forced to play a role of “bad girl” who was consistently bullied and humiliated.

Well, TMZ is reporting today that the suit ended in a confidential settlement. Of course TMZ knows all the details of the settlement and is reporting that the show agreed not to air any scenes involving her. Sources at RSP told TMZ that the scenes were not planned to be included in the episode anyway.  She was not awarded anything beyond that and received no monetary payout. I guess it was “confidential” to keep her from looking even more ridiculous. I wonder how much it cost to hire lawyers her to avoid looking foolish on national TV?  I suppose it was money well spent since Shahs of Sunset is getting a ton of publicity. It’s even being premiered after the highest rated show on Bravo, Real Housewives of Atlanta so it is expected to draw quite the ratings.

The lesson here is don’t sign away all your rights if you ever find yourself at a social event being filmed for Bravo as there is always drama. Also, if you find yourself drunk at such an event, don’t hit on another person’s man. That never ends well. Is it just me or do Persian parties sound FANTASTIC!
