Am I the only one who hopes Seal and Heidi Klum get back together? I am trying to avoid the nitty gritty details, especially the gossip about Seal having anger issues because I don’t want to believe it. I really like their little family.

Anyway, Seal is in Australia on tour for his new Soul2Soul album and he stopped by the Fifi and Jules Morning Radio Show to give a short interview. He discusses his reasons for talking about the spilt and tells why he went on Ellen Degeneres and Piers Morgan so quickly after the breakup. You know where to find the tea!

Fifi and Jules (who sound just like you might imagine by the way) asked Seal why he decided to discuss the divorce on TV when Heidi was not speaking about it publicly. This was his response:

When you publicize your marriage as much as our marriage was publicized, when you renew wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is, you’re giving people a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to. When it goes south, you can’t all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence. It doesn’t really work like that.I respect my wife’s decision not to talk about that, but I felt that people at least deserved some kind of explanation why the picture of the ideal wasn’t what they thought it was.

Seal also pointed out that his interviews with Ellen Degeneres and Piers Morgan were scheduled three months in advance and timed to coincide with the release of his album, Soul2Soul. Soul has many concerts in Australia covering five cities. He is also slated to be one of the judges for the next season of the Australian version of The Voice and the filming begins very soon. I for one would love to see that show!
