Cynthia is actually our best hope for knowing how to behave on the trip

Cynthia seems to have a good attitude about the trip. She gets that the whole point of going to other countries is to experience new things and other cultures.  She is also probably the only one who has been outside the southeast before appearing on the show.

Phaedra who was instructed to refer to Marlo as a socialite by Bravo earlier in the season, now seems to be saying she doesn’t even know Marlo now that her violent offender record has been made public. I hope she hires lots of nannies to take care of that baby. Nary a mention of her BFF the Vice President of Ghana.

Of course, Nene and Marlo are planning to bling it out. Because everyone knows you want to draw a lot of attention to yourself when you travel. Wear flashy clothes. Flash lots of cash. And wear heels that cost a week’s salary for most people and are painful to walk in. If you forget something, there is always a Louis Vuitton store on every corner!

So we finally figure out where the whole thing about Kandi saying Kim would not hold a black baby came from. The girls go to an orphanage and Kandi says she just can’t picture Kim in that environment. Peter made an equally stupid comment when talking with Cynthia at the beginning of the show. The implication from lots of the cast is that Kim didn’t go because it was a “black thing” rather than the fact she has a new baby at home.  And the fighting is of course going to happen. It looks like Cynthia, who is trying to enjoy Africa spends some time with the smalls rather than the talls. In the picture here, you can see that she was definitely sitting with the smalls during the drum circle. Wonder what that means.
