Atlantic Station is one of those new “live-work-play” communities that are springing up all over the place these days. Atlantic Station is actually the first one I was aware of when it happened five or six years back. These days their tree lighting ceremony is trying to rival the tradition of the lighting of the tree at Downtown Davison’s. You know, back when there WAS a Downtown Davison’s and we all hauled ourselves down there on Thanksgiving night for the lighting of the tree. That was like half a dozen brother-in-laws ago. Lord have mercy. Then there was the lighting of the tree at Downtown Macy*s which was totally not the same thing. Now the lighting of the great tree is at Lennox Mall, ffs, and they can’t seem to even hoist the tree anymore. I suppose the Atlantic Station tree lighting pictured above will end up being the new tradition.
Meanwhile, I ran across this picture of Kim Zolciak from days gone by apparently nestled all snug in her bed while visions of sugar plums danced in her head. Or maybe NFL players. Either way it worked for her. I completely admit, I am phoning it in this week, gentle readers. It’s a rainy day in Georgia and I have been stricken by the whole, can’t be bothered with the blogging research thing. I’m gonna snuggle up and watch some old Christmas movies. I watched Shirley Temple in Heidi yesterday. It was FABULOUS. What Christmas movies do you suggest? I can’t watch A Christmas Story until Christmas Eve thanks to Atlanta homebody Ted Turner, so I am open to suggestions.Happy Holidays! And thanks for reading. Y’all are incredible. God Bless you every one.

How can Kim Z possibly sustain a spin-off if she doesn't have NeNe giving the constant back and forth verbal bashing? I will not be watching a show dedicated to sloppy Kim Z. Nope. I wonder if NeNe is secretly jealous. She may be going out proclaiming, "I'm rich, bitch!", but even she hasn't been given her own show yet. I think it would be AH-Sum if she became a reg on Glee. I think NeNe is at her best when she's interacting with the other women on the show, I really do enjoy her snide talking head segments. Also-NeNe is so insecure, it's not even funny. She tries to play off with her tough gal persona, but when she says things like, "[So Gregg], I know you've been on a few dates?" *smug/disgusted look* After he says he's not, and asks her the same question… "It ain't important." O, rly? Pfft, whatever. As much as Kim and NeNe hate each other now, I always thought they were a dynamic duo, and I would like to see them reconcile.I almost forgot, wth was up with Kim's dad approaching Phaedra about a job? WOW! Poor Phaedra, she looked really uncomfortable.Lastly Tamara (and I'll end my rant, lol), may I recommend "Its a Wonderful Life". One of my all time fav christmas movies.
Thanks for the movie recommendation! I expect Kim's show to do well. It will not be very long, it's just a few episodes about planning a wedding in a very short time. If the only reason you watch RHOA is for the catfights, it will likely not be your cup of tea. If you like wedding shows, it might be. I don't forsee a Kim and Nene reunion. I think Nene's career outside of RHOA is taking off. I think she wants out of RHOA and thinks she has a career in Hollywood. She has a lot of funny oneliners and I respect her work ethic. GLEE is a HARD show to work. EXHAUSTINGLY hard schedule and she has been met with open arms. Good for her. As for Kim's dad, it's a rough economy and we are all hustling to get our name out there. I get criticized all the time at sites where I go to push this blog. If I had a kid on a TV show I would be all like "have you seen my blog Tamaratattles?"
And I don't even have ads here …YET.
He wasn't asking HER for a job so much as publicizing his company.Merry Christmas!
Kim … Kim is a hustler and she has wrangled herself a husband with an NFL pension!!LOL Smart cookie Nene … she's hustling too … too bad I dont' care anymore like I used to – I actually wonder how her kids are faring. LOLI love your blog – but take a break and enjoy the holidays!!! … and then WOW us with your sleuthing skills when you return! LOLA movie that I LOVE is Home For The Holidays … it is so funny – and I just love it.Merry Christmas!!! … and enjoy Atlanta!!
I love the movie A Christmas Story. I didn't know it was Ted Turner's fault I have to wait for Xmas Eve. Target is selling a set of glasses with different scenes from the movie printed on them. Hey, why not? The behind the scenes making of that movie is very interesting, esp. for big fans.
I wonder if Kroy had her sign a pre-nup? Why would he want to move into that oversized garrish mansion anyway and blow all of his money? Kim is a pro at what she does…hustling. She is sickening.
Hi, Tamara. I am a daily visitor to your blog and I enjoy it. Some of my favorite Christmas movies are Rated G. being that I am a mom. Our family enjoys watching The Polar Express and Home Alone during the Christmas Holiday. Anyway, have a safe and happy holiday
When kroy wake up it is going to be way to late. Kim is a hustler. He is not thinking you can see it in his face. Kim put that whip appeal on kroy and he is frozen, once he comes to, all his money will be gone, just like big poppa.
Christmas movie recommendation: A Christmas Carol, starring Patrick Stewart. The man is incredible. Merry Christmas, Tamara and Tamara fans!
I feel bad for Kroy. He seems like such a nice young guy. Can't help but get the feeling that a pro-ho put it on this sweet Midwestern kid just to get at his money, he had no idea what hit him.Yes, Kim seems so sweet and loving to him now. But just remember she loved Nene to pieces too….until her usefulness ran out.
I'm with Sandy, "It's A Wonderful Life," it has to be my all-time favorite movie. Tamara I bid you Season's Greetings, and God's favor in the coming New Year!
hello everyone. i cosign with "home for the holidays", but also recommend "this christmas". it is wonderful, and has lots of good looking brothers to boot. happy holidays to one and all. much love from chicago.
@Cali and Anon.- I completely agree with you. Kroy is a real gentleman and his heart is in the right place. The down side, he is young, inexperienced and has no idea that he is dealing with a "hustler". Did you notice that his family is never around?
Tamara, does it have to be Christmas movies? Lately I've watched a few Joan Crawford movies and so far my favorite has been Mildred Pierce.
Tamara, I agree NeNe has a good work ethic but she is materialistic and golddiggerish(my word). As for her Hollywood career- it won't last. I just don't forsee a long acting career. Showing off expensive shoes and bags is not what she should do. Save, live modestly, preserve cash is what she should do.
Hi Tamara! I just love reading your blog, but agree with one of your other readers in hoping you take some well deserved time off, and enjoy the holidays! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! One of my favorite Christmas movies is A Christmas Carol (the old b/w 1940's one. ).
HAYY TARMARA DAHLING!! THAT PIC OF KIM AMONGST HER "REAL CHILLEN" IS PRICELESS. I'M SURPRISED SWEETIE DIDN'T STICK HER HEAD IN THAT JOINT! LOL! YEAH, OLE HUBBY KROY IS A BABE IN THE WOODS. HES LIKE A LOST DEAR IN THE WILDERNESS WITH THE HEADLIGHTS IN HIS EYES. BROMAN "BETTER WATCH OUT, AND HE BETTER NOT CRY, AND HE BETTER NOT POUT CAUSE I'M TELLIN YALL WHY, BIG KIM IS GON-NA TAKE HIM FOR-A, A RIDEE!!" LOL!!OH, AND MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE IS, "THE BISHOPS WIFE", AND "THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER".
