Before I get to my post on tonight’s show, I need to give y’all some backstory. First of all, I need y’all to go to this link on bravo and watch the WWHL after show with Nene Leakes from August of 2009. It’s the one where Kim calls in from the Bahama’s and accuses Nene of having an affair with Charles Grant which according to Kim began in January of 2009. The video is about 10 minutes long, but grab some sweet tea and refresh your memory because this is where this backstory begins. I’ll wait. When you are done, click through the jump because there is a TON to tell you.
There were rumors all over town about Nene and Charles for more than two years. I’ll share a few but there are billions. Radar Online published this one in April of 2010. In May of 2010 Charles took a plea deal to avoid manslaughter charges in the death of a pregnant woman during a bar brawl. Then this story came out about Gregg and Charles getting into an altercation over some car keys in the parking lot of Publix was published on Hot 107.9 last January. But Charles was on the air at Hot 107 just before that saying he doesn’t even know Nene Leakes.
So basically this has all been a hot mess for a long time and SOMEONE is loving keeping these rumors alive. Could it be, Bravo? Here’s what I think, after the rumors started a lot of people reported Charles Grant sightings. The one with Greg in the Publix parking, lot in my opinion, was not Charles at all. Let’s look at a couple of pictures.

Am I the only one who sees a resemblance here? Because if there were rumors swirling all about town about Charles and Nene and you see Bryson and Gregg arguing over car keys in the Publix parking lot, well I for one think that is an easy mistake to make. I think the whole Charles and Nene story started from a little seed when she hosted some charity event he was at way back in 2009. Nene has a habit of sidling up to anyone with a bit of notoriety. I think she enjoyed the rumors and let them keep going; but, I don’t think they ever dated. Charles at one point said that Nene was not attractive enough for him. Not in those exact words but in whatever language he speaks. Nene started saying things like “I have eyes in my head” after that. This was way before she put them in her purse after seeing Redickulous. Essentially, Nene enjoyed the rumors and Charles did not.
And this gets me to Marlo Hampton. So y’all marinate on that for awhile and I will finish this story, and tell you what it has to do with Cynthia Bailey MCing a fashion show.

Well, if you're hinting Charles is Bryson's father – he would have been QUITE the randy 12yo! He's 33 and isn't Bryson 21?However, I might believe Charles was shit-faced drunk and fucked Nene behind the dumpster of a low-rent bar one night – absolutely. And I would definitely believe that Nene burned up his phone trying to hook up again. But were they 'dating' as in going out in public together?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!Nope! No self-respecting human adult male is going to do that.WD
I think she meant mistaken identity and that it wasn't Charles but Bryson that Greg was arguing with in the Publix parking lot.
Yes, WD, Pam is correct. My theory is that when people see Greg with Bryson,or Nene with Bryson,and have the rumors on their minds, they might think it was Charles. I'm not suggesting a Maury Povitch thing here at all.

OMG Listening to Nene talk over Kim was killing me. I don't understand why Andy didn't tell Nene to STFU. Nene knew what Kim was going to say that is why she kept going on and on and on talking over her. I believe Nene was nothing but a jump off for Charles.

I love NeNe's mouth lol. Charles has no room to be speaking of not attractive enough. NeNe ain't no bombshell but she's more then attractive enough for his mug. Psh the nerve……

I think Kim lied. At the time Kim thought Nene had wrote in her book that she was a stripper named Barbie. Kandi also spread the rumor on a radio show and Nene phoned in and over talked her. Also, radar online was saying Nene choked Kim. On WWHL, Nene over talked Kim and everyone assumed Nene was covering up something. I think Bravo set up Kim's call. Nene is hypersensitive about people lying on her. I agree with Tamara, Charles and Brice favor and it would be easy to get them mixed up.
The way they had Phaedra introduce Marlo, makes Phaedra look messy. I wonder why on every episode, there is continual chatter about Nene?
From these pictures here, I was only slightly seeing the resemblence, but seeing Charles on the show, it's evident how he could be mistaken for Bryson, and vice versa. It seems as though someone just wanted them to be a story, and thus, the gossip rags made it so, with no real truth to the matter.
Nene's MO is to talk over everyone and/or walk up to them and try to intimidate them with her height or mouth. Both are bigger than most. I think she needs to take her "rich" self and move on. I never have liked her and even like her less now. I agree with whomever said that Andy was enjoying this phone call too much and should have told Nene to shutup and let Kim talk. Nene is a bully, a wannabe and a has been. Time for her to go.
I thought when that incident happened that it was determined Bryson had cut his dreads off at that point and it was Charles

I sort of feel bad for not teaching reading comprehension anymore. There are so many in need. I'll make a contribution to Reading is Fundamental (RIF) in your honor.
Seriously..l.. I pretty sure that you might need to take that class yourself… and furthermore.. you should spell check your work before you post… I'm just commenting, but you're blogging and you have an entire site.. but with major typos and grammatical errors… who would want to keep checking out your blog… Oh and if you get upset about people responding with their opinions… maybe you shouldn't be blogging… just a thought.
